I often get asked by my clients how does my business work? How do I get paid and is there an extra cost to them by booking through me? So I thought it was time for an update!

I have worked in travel for over 30 years and this is my full-time job. I am self-employed and work along side Travel Counsellors. Some of you may be thinking so what does this mean?

✨This means I trade under the Travel Counsellors brand and run my own independent business

✨Every element of your holiday is not only ATOL protected but is also protected by Travel Counsellor's independent financial Trust, which means your money is 100% financially protected.

✨I have the support of our worldwide 24/7 Duty Office.

✨I have access to 100’s of suppliers including Jet2, TUI and EasyJet holidays as well as smaller independent companies which enables me to completely tailor-make your perfect holiday at very competitive prices.

✨If you book with me I will then be your only contact, there is no need for you to call airlines or holiday companies, spending your precious time on the end of the phone. If you have a question just pick up the phone I am always here for you from the start of your initial enquiry right through to when you come home.

✨I can do your check-in for you, print, send or hand deliver all your travel documents or if you prefer they are all available on your personal MYTC APP.

✨I will email the hotels and let them know if you have any special requests be that a surprise proposal, a special birthday, an anniversary, a honeymoon or anything else. I do all of this for you.

✨How do I get paid?

Unlike agents that work for a high street agent or a call centre – I am not salaried.

✨I am paid by the supplier and this is only when a booking is made and you have travelled, my service to you is FREE!

How have you spent the first Saturday of the year?
