Yorkshire Dales Centre, Caravan and Motorhome Club Celebration Rally - Early May Bank Holiday 2025 (Thursday-Tuesday)

Good evening rally members. Gareth is looking to set up a sub group to organise, what will be, this fantastic event next year. In celebration of our 50 year anniversary! It is too much for the current committee to organise with 5 of us working full time with families etc.

He is suggesting that the group meet via zoom/teams one a month from July onwards. Gareth will chair the meeting. If you can spare an hour a month to meet with some time also helping organise what the group agree that would be a big help.

We would be organising such things as:
Bands, entertainment, food vans, generator hire, marquee hire, daily activities children’s events etc. @

It will be great fun arranging this, so if you are interested then please let me know!

This rally is a short distance from the 57th Masham Steam Fair which is running on Saturday and Sunday with lots of entertainment , music and fun for all the family. ❤️

Lockside Easter Raffle
It is with great pleasure that I can announce we made £102.30 at this year’s Easter raffle at Lockside. Thank you all who gave so generously to the prizes, and those who bought the tickets. Splendid effort. The money will go to our Centre chosen Charity. The Charity will be decided on this week at the Committee Meeting. Thanks again!

As the Easter holidays starts to come to an end😭, on behalf of the Yorkshire Dales Centre i would like to thank Maria & Gareth Pashley-Chung Helen, Richard & Max Willan for running our Rally at Lockside. Its been a full "weekend" of events for all ages. Hope to see all the visitors again on a Dales Rally soon where you will be most welcome. 🙋🏼‍♂️

We have secured 12 spaces at this lovey site in North Yorkshire.
This rally location is in stunning Nidderdale close to the Nidd Gorge , great area for walking with its woodland and river habitat. The site is located in Scotton, a small village a few miles from the historic town of Knaresborough. The village boasts a great pub , The Guy Fawkes Arms ,within walking distance if you fancy a lunch , evening meal or just refreshments . It takes its name from a famous individual who one lived in the village.

There is a bus into Knaresborough should you fancy a different mode of transport!

Notice of motions and nominations for Officer’s & Committee must be sent to the Honorary Secretary & be received in accordance with the centres rules published on the website and attached here. 🙌

Otley Road, Eldwick, BD16 3HQ. From Bingley turn right or left depending on direction of travel onto Park Road, continue up the hill onto Parkside, follow the road up and around the step left hand bend. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (straight on) onto Otley Road. In approximate 500yds there is a post office on the right. Eldwick Village hall car park approximately 50yds on the left.

Ripon City centre within easy walking distance along the canal towpath, Fountains Abbey and Newby Hall is a short drive away. Electric Hookups are available on a first come first served basis (additional cost applicable). Easter Activities planned for all the family.

There is a small shower and toilet on site. 🥳

If you have children then why not look at Lightwater Valley for a day out. 😀

If you have never rallied before then our Marshals have lots of experience and they are soo lovely too!

This is a free and easy weekend with a cycle path to Knaresborough at the site entrance and easy access to Harrogate. There is also a village pub situated within easy walking distance of the rally field. Electric hook up available at an additional cost, please advise on booking if required.
