The kitchen is the last room to have the transformation complete (although we are waiting for our new cooker to be delivered)
A lot has been done in the kitchen but for a relatively cheap cost.

So after originally deciding to take the radiator out of the kitchen as we didn’t think we needed one, we soon realised that the kitchen just doesn’t seem to warm up with the rest of the house - So this week we have had a small radiator fitted and Marcus has boxed in the pipe work too 🙌🏽

The downstairs toilet is almost complete. Completely stripped, removal of the radiator and replaced with towel rail, rebuild boxing to hide pipes, new slimline sink installed to give us a bit more room and a new oak opening inwards instead of out like the old one 🙌🏽

This weekend I started the flooring, having never done it before I can assure you all I will never do it again 🤦🏽♂️
However very pleased with the final outcome after plenty of stressful moments and finishing with the exact right amount of boards. Just gotta get all the skirting boards down and painted now 👍🏽

This has got to be our favorite transformation so far!! Getting our new doors fitted upstairs, so glad we went for oak and not white!!
Not sure was excited that they were oak though 🤣 Thanks so much for fitting them they look AMAZING!

Time to get rid of this disgusting back door!!! I have never fitted a door before, but after a lot of banging, swearing, and at time close to giving up - it’s finally in and looks so much better!!

Starting laying the loft insulation, 1st time this house has had any! Couldn’t believe that people have lived here with no insulation in the house at all

It’s been a busy couple of weeks for us due to the arrival of our little princess, but that hasn’t stopped Marcus from getting to the house when he can to and get 2 layers of paint on every wall, ready and waiting for skirting & coving before we start cutting in.
We are determined to get our family home all ready for us to move into within the next 6 weeks 🤞🏽

A year ago we were approached about an opportunity which combined our passion for travel and a way to make money from it.
After lots of conversations, skepticism and questions we realised we had nothing to lose so we gave it a go 🚀
1 year on we have grown our own travel team and given them the opportunity to do the same. This decision has allowed us to travel smarter and teach others how to do the same, as well as help towards our funds for buying our first home together 🏠

So this week we had all our new windows installed, we opted to keep the same design as previous especially the front room window as we loved the big glass panel!
We also had our new doors delivered and installed, matching colours with T bar for the main door and a handle for the utility 🙌🏽

Today was an exciting day!! We were able to open up the paint, just the 1 coat in the bedrooms to start 🎨

All bedrooms are now plastered, needs a couple of days to dry and then we can finally get them paint brushes out!!!! 🎨
