On Monday 29th July, we will say goodbye to the Queen of Jacks Coaches, Joan Buckley. Joan has been our number 1 customer for 24 years. We transported all of her groups throughout the years, Scouts, friendship groups, and veterans. Even when Joan lived in Darlington, we still provided transport for the new groups she started there whilst continuing her Redcar groups. Our biggest supporter who championed our business but was never one to be messed with and always loved a good deal. She was always proud of the amount of business she had booked with us, always keen to cement her place as the number 1. She is the only customer to have a company jacket (after years of haggling)

Her main two drivers were Richard then in recent years Andy (she wasn't one to hold back if she didn't like a driver). She loved a good natter to all of us in the office when she rang, we will all miss that so much.

We will be providing a coach from Darlington to transport people to her funeral & I know she will love the fact that there will be one of our coaches alongside her on her final journey.

Joan, you will be missed by all of us & there will never be another like you ❤️

We are a family run firm based in central Middlesbrough

A driving position has come available for the following:

Full time term time only ( Mon - Fri ). For home to school transport & school private hire

Full time term time only will be a salaried position working 39 weeks, 45 hours per week guaranteed @ £13 per hour Mon - Fri £25,568 p/a

No works contracts etc, as near to a 9 - 5 position as you will get in the coach sector.

We have 40 hour options or part-time options if better suited

The successful applicants must have the ability to pass an enhanced DBS criminal Record Check & have a full PSV Licence ( Cat D )

Company uniform will be provided, access to company pension scheme, help with obtaining Driver CPC & digicard if required.

A few on rail replacement duties this weekend and a multi school hire for Nicholas Postgate Academy down to York.

This coach has just come back from Meridian Coachworks Ltd this week after a coat of Ford Frozen White, thank you for another excellent job with a prompt turn round. Just waiting for the paint to settle then vinals to be added. Picture sent from driver Liam whilst waiting on the Knavesmire.

This is our PSVAR compliant service bus with 44 belted seats. Ideal for rail replacement, shuttle runs etc but it is also a practical vehicle for wheelchair users. Our first PSVAR coach that has been converted will be ready for the road after the Easter break
