THE OLD LIBRARY GARDEN CAFE AND BAR, UPPERMILL
During lockdown we were asked by Gillian and Mark Bradley, former owners of the award winning bakery ‘Bradleys Bakery’, to help them with their new cafe and bar in the centre of Uppermill. Situated in what was originally the old library. A great location with plenty of outside space, including a lovely undercover heated area overlooking the river and park.
The brief:
Produce a logo/branding;

Signage design and artwork.

There is no doubt that this time has been both stressful, sad to the extreme, testing for many, but also a time to think and stretch your creative thoughts and dreams which may have been simmering in your head for a long time.
Many businesses will not survive and that is a real shame and our thoughts go out to them. Some may have already been struggling and this has pushed them over the edge, never to recover no matter how much help they receive. BUT, some will thrive during this time (as we have found, not only to our advantage as a business), but also for many who have found a new lease of life for their business during lockdown.

ONLINE SALES are the FUTURE! And that's a fact!

Don't sit back and still have those thoughts of what could have been - just do it! Follow those dreams.

Stonehouse lost a few ready to start jobs at the beginning of this lockdown, (hopefully some of these will get going again at some point in the future). In the first couple of weeks we did some gardening, a bit of decorating, lots of knitting (that's Deborah not Russell), drank gallons of coffee and ate tons of chocolate. But, then all of sudden the world changed!

ONLINE SALES IS THE WAY FORWARD. If you have a business that can sell online, and you don't do so already, then seriously think about it. A number of our existing clients have, along with gaining quite a few new clients too during this time.

Now is the time, don't miss it!

A full day's product photography today for Animate, up over the hill in Yorkshire - it's all about animals!
dog toys, beds, leads, collars etc etc etc (all nice and still)
Test is all the live shots over the next week - greyhounds, labrador, airedale terriers, cocker spaniel, cockapoo and a sc**zo (all moving and giddy)!
I will either end up wanting a dog or maybe not!!
