There really is so much to do on this wonderful Caribbean Island so don’t be fooled into thinking it’s just a “lounging by the pool” or sun-bather’s dream destination. The culture,food,natural history and the people make Barbados a perfect island to get a delicious taste of Caribbean life.

This is why I wanted to show you some of the very best things to do in Barbados that you cannot miss.

1. Swim With Turtles
It’s one of the best things to do in Barbados,especially if you love wildlife.

2. Explore Animal Flower Cave
Situated in the northern tip of the island, Animal Flower Cave is a great place to start your exploration of the wilder and more dramatic east coast of Barbados.

3. Spend An Exciting Evening At Oistins Fish Fry
Oistins Fish Fry is a local hangout for visitors and local residents alike–definitely a perfect place to spend a Friday evening.
Choose some delicious food, watch residents playing dominoes and even listen to the Caribbean beats that fill the stage.
It really is one of the best things to do in Barbados on a Friday night. Its so much fun!

4. Delve underground at Harrison’s Cave
one of the island’s most breathtaking natural wonders - here hide echoing chambers like the 50m high Great Hall and curious geological formations,formed from millions of years of mineral deposits.

5. Sail the Caribbean Sea

6. Explore the rainforests
About 40 minutes north of the capital city, Bridgetown, are some of Barbados’s most beautiful forests. Take a drive and head straight for this beautifully lush landscape. It’s a perfect place to go if you like a little hike!

7. See the cliffs and waves of Bathsheba Beach
On the east coast of the Island is Bathsheba Beach. An unspoilt rocky terrain that is shaped by the Atlantic Ocean.
Head for a drive down the coast and explore the area (along with some local rum houses that line the roads). It’s one of the best things to do in Barbados

✨ One of most popular German landmark - Neuschwanstein Castle, which literally translates to New Swan Stone castle, is located in Bavaria.✨

Bavarian King Ludwig II - The Fairy Tale King or The Swan King and even The Mad King had a “thing” for building extravagant, dramatic architecture, spending all his fortunes and making him bankrupt.

Neuschwanstein was supposed to be his dream home...which remained a dream cuz it was never finished; and his death, an eternal mystery.
If you’re not familiar with this historical figure, I suggest to do some research.

Nevertheless, his madness has given the world an architectural marvel that became a model for Disney's Sleeping Beauty castle, every window of which provides a magnificent view.

✨THE FLYING KISS - World’s Tallest Attraction Ride in China✨

The “Flying Kiss” is an extreme theme park attraction of which the likes have never been seen before.  The ‘Flying Kiss’ is two giant statues, overlooking a 3,000 ft. cliff – one of a man and the other of a woman.

The ride begins with the man and woman bending down to the ground to pick up passengers from a rooftop platform. Once on board, the giant statues, holding you up on observation decks with one arm, bring you up into the sky for a spectacular view that is unforgettable.

There are no seats, seat belts, or safety harnesses for the entire ride. For safety, there is simply a waste-high gate. You are free to move about the observation deck throughout the duration of the ride as the carousel turns and rises – giving you spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and valleys below.

💞The two statues represent two lovers from a Chinese mythical love story and the big finale is when the pair reach their highest elevation, at which point the two statues ‘kiss.’ 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨

В Чунцине, на юго-западе Китая, появился новый туристический аттракцион Flying Kiss. От одного его вида уже кружится голова.

Две статуи высотой 50 метров поднимают к небу две вращающиеся смотровые площадки. Скульптуры изображают персонажей китайской легенды — влюбленных принца и фею. 
 
Страховка для «пассажиров» в виде ремней безопасности не предусмотрена. Можно ходить по всей площадке, если хватит смелости, и любоваться пейзажами, простирающимися далеко внизу, под ногами.

Аттракцион сам по себе установлен на горе высотой 1200 метров. Кульминация наступает в момент символического поцелуя и максимального сближения двух площадок.

✨The Etretat gardens is a cliff-top experimental garden with "living sculptures", overlooking the iconic "Needle" rock cliff of the Etretat coast in Normandy.Etretat is on the north coast of France 2.5h away from Paris.

At the end of the 19th century the Villa Roxelane belonged to Madame Thebault,a famous French actress.She was a good friend of Claude Monet who came regularly to Etretat to paint.He inspired Madame Thebault to create an avant-garde garden in this idyllic spot on the clifftop.

What started as just one tree developed into an unusual and charming garden,which boasted a vast collection of rare orchids,a particular passion of Madame Thébault’s.

More than a century later,the garden was restored by the Russian landscape architect Alexander Grivko.He has used the vegetation to create magnificent living sculptures and these are given another dimension with a display of Modern Art in the gardens.

The vision of the ocean floor became the main inspiration for the Jardin Émotions garden.The trimmed plants echo the landscapes of the underwater world and the oysters’ habitat.

It is also home to a set of expressively sculpted faces. The sculptures capture the entire range of emotions and symbolise the various “moods“ of the ocean and its inhabitants.

The installation by the Russian artist Sergey Katran features an array of terracotta sculptures shaped like the sound waves of the word “art” pronounced in 125 different languages.

The Étretat Gardens are listed among "Great Gardens of the World" and also received a star from the Michelin Green Guide.

When I was a child I had a real trouble to understand this magical event in the sky - and I still do!🤯

How our Mother Nature could create something so beautiful like that!
I will definitely go and see it with my own eyes 👀, just because I am one of those people I don’t believe it until I see it!
