Our cosy cottages are ideally placed for visiting Haddon Hall Christmas Markets if you want to make a short break of it…

We are delighted to share that tickets to our Mercatum - Christmas Artisan Market are now available to pre-book!

This year’s Mercatum will be bigger, better and more captivating than ever as Medieval Haddon’s beautifully-decorated courtyards, rooms and galleries play host to over 180 talented artisans and makers, carefully curated to offer the best in luxury Christmas shopping. Ceramicists, artists, chocolatiers, jewellers, candle makers, artisan stationers, perfumers and many more will make your Christmas shopping easy and enjoyable.

But Mercatum is so much more than just a festive market. Haddon Hall’s fairytale surroundings are made especially magical at Christmas, with multitudes of twinkling lights, luxurious decorations and beautiful Christmas trees grown on the Haddon Estate.

If you love a little bit of Christmas magic, Mercatum at Haddon Hall will be the highlight of your festive season!

Dates for Mercatum are as follows:
Wednesday 13th – Sunday 17th November
Wednesday 20th – Sunday 24th November
Wednesday 27th – Sunday 1st December
Wednesday 4th – Sunday 8th December
Wednesday 11th – Sunday 15th December

We have a morning and afternoon session for each day. If you have a Green ticket (travelled to Haddon by public transport or walked), you are welcome to stay all day. The session times are:

Morning Tickets: 9.15am – 1.00pm
(Car Park opens 8.30am – 1.00pm)

Afternoon Tickets 1.15pm – 5.00pm
(Car Park opens 1.15pm – 5.00pm)

Costs for Mercatum are:
Adult – (16 + years) – £11.00 (this includes parking)
Child – (5-15 years) – £3.50
Infant – (0-4 years) – FREE
Green – (All day entry) – £9.00
Historic House Admission (Please present membership card) – £0.00
Historic House Parking (Parking fee for HH members) – £3.80
