Adventures for All aims to introduce, encourage and enable autistic and otherwise neurodiverse people and their social networks to develop rail confidence, feel more connected to their local railway stations and enjoy taking part in social experiences and activities that are accessible by rail.

Last week three families took part in a guided Adventures For All day, and what a great time was had! 👏

We met at Blackburn station and took the Autism Friendly Line to Manchester Victoria where the real adventure began! 🗺️

Our families solved puzzles using their Adventure Tomes and cracked the secret code to unlock the treasure chest at Manchester Victoria Station! 🚉

📣 FREE Guided Adventure Day for autistic / neurodivergent people and their families! 🙌
🗓️ 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th October

🚊 In partnership with Community Rail Lancashire, The Sunnywood Project has created the brand new Adventures For All project!
Adventures for All has been designed to introduce, encourage and enable autistic and otherwise neurodiverse people and their social networks to develop rail confidence. 😊

🚊 In addition to the free rail travel along the UK’s first autism friendly Line between Blackburn and Manchester Victoria, the adventure will involve using an interactive map, which you will follow on your smartphone, leading us to locate points of interest and unlock clues by solving riddles and puzzles along the way.📱

🚊 Once you have visited all points on the map and completed the activities, you will be presented a secret code which will open treasure chest located near the rail station. 🥳

🚊 This adventure is for those who may be anxious about rail or that travel by rail is a trigger for anxiety and stress with the aim of supporting the development of confidence to independently travel by train.
