Great to see that Dulux are taking can recycling more seriously although I have been returning empty cans to them for nearly 10 years, this is the first real acknowledgment!

This was a satisfying little project.
A local customer asked if these two small bedside tables could be refinished to match their existing Lombok cabinet.
After careful preparation and the mixing of various wood stains, the cabinets were ‘grained’ until a match was achieved!

This Victorian staircase in Leyton is 125 years old and is generally in great condition for its age apart from the wood becoming too dark over time.
The owner decided it needed a ‘lift’! So after careful preparation and a primer, the staircase was finished in Farrow & Ball ‘Wimborne White’ and ‘Oxford Stone’ eggshell paint which really complemented the existing colour scheme.

This customer in Enfield wanted to bring their second bedroom back into use after they removed the existing wallpaper a while ago.
It took a fair amount of preparation to get the walls smooth enough for the chosen Laura Ashley wallpaper, with excellent results.
The paint chosen for the woodwork was Farrow and Ball Slipper Satin.

After a recent bathroom refit at this home in Enfield the original lathing plaster on this side of the wall suffered damage and became unstable. I removed the affected area, cut and attached new plasterboard , filled smooth and cross lined with lining paper to give a consistent surface before painting. The customer was delighted with the result.

This is a large kitchen in Enfield that I decorated where the customer required a complete makeover especially for the original handbuilt wooden units.

They were fully prepared and then finished with Dulux White mist satinwood, a very pale modern grey which required 3 coats over a special primer.

The chosen wall colour is Dulux Jasmine white to add a slight warm glow at either end of the room and the ceiling in Dulux Absolute white to lighten the area as much as possible.

The overall effect of the chosen colours really complemented the newly installed tiles, flooring and worktops.

This was a job I completed in Winchmore Hill in March using colours from the Dulux Heritage range , the walls and ceilings are painted in ‘Inca Orange’ which is quite a dramatic tone and the kitchen units are finished in ‘Linen Colour’ . Using the same colour on the walls and ceilings also brings the focus towards the hardwood windows, beams and painted units.

It was a pleasure to carry out decorating / renovating work in this 300 year old house in Highgate recently.
The house has a lot of history and character and was actually a school for 200 years!
Some of the existing colours used in the house were unfortunately no longer available so I had to mix by hand different shades to match the existing finishes.

What a great look for a child’s bedroom! A customers daughter wanted a rainbow coloured theme for her new room.
After a few ideas this colour scheme was decided on and as you can see the result is very striking !!
