this is what 0+3 restrictions look like, just in case anyone fancied making a trip to HKG
AMBER CODE RESTRICTIONS (Day 0 to Day 3 9am) - Updated 17 November 2022 & effective 17 November 2022
a) Everyone arriving from abroad will be subjected to Amber code restrictions from the day they arrive (Day 0) to Day 3 9am.
b - 1) If you test positive on the PCR test on Day 0 (on arrival PCR test) or Day 2, then you will be required to isolate at your place of residence or hotel room or Community Isolation Facility for 7 to 14 days. During your isolation period, you will not be permitted to leave your place of residence or hotel room or Community Isolation Facility, and your Amber code on the LeaveHomeSafe App will become 'Red'.
b - 2) Close contacts, defined as those residing in the same location / place of residence / home / hotel room, will also be required to isolate for 7 days. Whilst your code on the LeaveHomeSafe App will continue to be Amber or Blue, you are not permitted to leave your place of residence / hotel room until the conclusion of your isolation period.
c) The Hong Kong Government released a Press statement on 16 November 2022 to clarify the new rules for Amber code holders. Details of the Press statement are outlined below.

Disneyland is not opened on Tuesdays and Thursdays except public holidays and peak periods. Disneyland will open daily from 18 December 2022 to 2 January 2023.
Disneyland is opened at 10: 30am. The time the park closes varies
Go to Ocean Park
Please Note: You will not be permitted to dine in at any restaurants within Ocean Park However, you will be permitted to purchase takeaway and eat in an open area of the theme park.

Ocean Park is not opened on Tuesdays and Wednesdays except 27 December 2022 and 28 December 2022

Go to Hong Kong Zoological & Botanical Gardens
Go to Man Mo Temple
Go to any markets: Stanley Market, Temple Street Night Market etc
Go to Museums: Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Hong Kong Museum of History etc.
Go to the Big Buddha on Lantau Island via the Ngong Ping Cable Car or Bus #23 from Tung Chung
Go to Tai O: Bus #21 from Ngong Ping or Bus #1 from Mui Wo or Bus #11 from Tung Chung
Go shopping
Go for a hike: Maclehose Trail, Wilson Trail, Hong Kong Trail or Dragon's Back
Purchase your Octopus Card at the Airport or MTR Station or Convenient Store (7 Eleven or Circle K)
Stay at a hotel: Most hotels will accept overseas arrivals but not all hotels will. Please check with your hotel to confirm
Take the Airport Express or Bus to your hotel
Take the Ferry to outlying islands (Cheung Chau, Lamma, Mui Wo / Silvermine Bay, Park Island, Peng Chau)
Take the Star Ferry
Walk along the Tsim Sha Tsui East and Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade
