Those of you who have already been with us to Zakynthos may remember the story of the bravery of Loukas Karrer the mayor who refused to betray the Jews on the Island.

ONLINE RELEASE OF "LIFE WILL SMILE"
- Available globally from Wednesday, April 8th, 2020 at 11am PDT to April 13th, 2020 at 11am PDT -

Dear all, since the beginning of this year we have been planning screenings of "Life Will Smile" in various parts of the world: the US, Canada, the UK, Greece, Israel, Australia, and a few others. As you can imagine, as things stand now, all of these screenings have been indefinitely postponed.
At the same time, most of us are locked safely in our homes looking for inspiration and ways to entertain ourselves.
So, this coming Wednesday, for 5 days including Easter Sunday (April 12th, 2020) we will make "Life Will Smile" available online for all to see. The film is in Greek and it will be available with English and Hebrew subtitles. With no cost to the viewers whatsoever. The only thing you need is an internet-enabled device.
The incredible and unique survival story of the 275 Jews of Zakynthos is a story of bravery, courage and a loving, kind community coming together during one of the darkest times in human history.

Yesterday we met the goatherd on top of the mountain, standing on a thin rock with 1800 ft drop behind him!
One of his dogs decided that following walkers was more interesting than goats so he herded us all the way.
