Launching the third season of Apple TV+’s Slow Horses with Setsquare Creative was anything but '3rd Time Unlucky.'
Thanks to the Star Live team's precision and finesse, the brand activation sailed down the Thames flawlessly, docking at the MI6 building without a hitch.
No second or third chances needed when Star Live and Setsquare are on board. We crafted a strong and secure foundation, ensuring Setsquare's installation stood tall and proud. Our scaffold framework, with cladding brackets, boasted a minimal design to let Setsquare's creativity shine without interference. Taking wind speeds into account, we guaranteed a stable ex*****on on the Thames – day and night.
In just a day, we built it, and in another, we de-rigged it.

Dazzling moments in Singapore at Zoukout's 20th Edition, thanks to Star Live's 20m VerTech stage! 🌟 Specially configured to complement Live Legends' futuristic design, our stage system flawlessly supported over 30 tonnes of production, featuring an intricately rigged main video screen and scenic surround set at a 45-degree angle around the stage support towers.
Artists took the spotlight on a custom steel frame rolling DJ module, smoothly navigating the central video portal.
Constructed just steps away from the ocean, the delivery team worked in tropical conditions with the VerTech stage providing robust protection against the daily downpours, ensuring a seamless performance for both tech and performers.
This landmark event marked the regional debut of our award-winning VerTech stage in Asia. A huge shoutout to the promoter, AEG Asia, and the dedicated production teams whose support made this event truly memorable. Watch this space as we announce more international projects soon! 🚀

👊 RIOT GAMES League of Legends World Finals were last month and saw the team T1 Org from South Korea lift their fourth World's trophy. 🇰🇷
Star Live was thrilled to deliver the 40m wide structural grid that held all the screens and lighting that were too heavy for the venue roof at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. With a mind-blowing total of 3,300 LED screen panels, it was quite the show!
In 2024, the UK will welcome the final to the iconic O2 Arena. After the success of the Mid-season Invitational, also hosted in London earlier this year, expectations are already very high for the 2024 final!

and today we only go back a couple of years, to when Star Live started working with Butlin's on the first Studio 36. Aptly named after the year Billy Butlin founded the family-run business, Star Live acted as Principal Contractor to deliver the all-weather, highly versatile event space across all three resorts. The turnkey solution delivered the finished structure, including enhanced HVAC systems, specially designed state-of-the-art AV, bespoke stages and rigging grids.
Used for conferences and events, exhibitions and gala dinners, the three Studio 36 structures have provided the Butlin's Group with over 8,200m² of additional space.

and today we're reminiscing about the incredible brand activation we created for Iris Worldwide's launch of Samsung's digital playground, 'Samsung KX' in 2019!

We built a one-of-a-kind, 9-metre tall "vertical stage" using three shipping containers. This unique stage was designed in a 9:16 format, perfect for filming with mobile phones held in portrait mode!

The finished stage was an absolute showstopper, showcasing three storeys of tech and performance space to a crowd of 2,000 people.

We're proud to have been a part of this epic event that brought cutting-edge technology and amazing experiences to life and have kept pushing boundaries and creating unforgettable moments since!

As the big event tees off in Rome, the Star Live team is enjoying the incredible view from the VISTA hospitality structure at the 2023 Ryder Cup. 🏌🏾
The VISTA features grandstand seating, a relaxed, covered, terrace and private hospitality suites - constructed from our flexible and modular Starbox units. This brand new offering at the Ryder Cup sits at the top of the course overlooking the 12th green and the short par 3 13th, with sweeping views across Marco Simone, all the way to St Peter's Basilica in Rome.

The last Bank Holiday weekend of the year proved to be a whirlwind of activity for Star Live.
We had multiple teams in action across the country delivering a range of projects. This weekend we delivered the 4 main stages and a range of ancillary structures at All Points East, built a 40m x 80m TFS structure at Creamfields, deployed one of our Orbit stages at the Silverstone Classic, and made our debut appearance with a VerTech stage at City Life Wythenshawe.
As the UK season draws to a close, the operations team are busy preparing multiple stages and structures for events in Asia over the coming months. Watch this space for more details on these exciting projects.

Another year with tight time-scales and a sensitive build environment at the Royal Hospital, where we again built a complex seating, viewing terrace and private hospitality suite for the Longines Global Champions Tour.

Star Live’s VISTA covered seating system provided best-in-class spectator facilities for this world-famous equestrian event. VISTA is Star Live's unique premium covered seating system; it is the ultimate in temporary or semi-permanent VIP hospitality facilities.

South Facing Festival kicked off last weekend with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds supported by Johnny Marr.
This is our second series of shows this summer at Crystal Palace Park, and our third year delivering a floating stage at the legendary venue.
Star Live delivered a 17m, four roof Bay Orbit with integrated PA and video screen support alongside a range of other event infrastructure.
The series of shows runs until 6th August and includes artists such as Primal Scream, Rudimental and First Aid Kit.

Work continues apace as we enter Phase 2 of The Ryder Cup build in Rome.
The 1st Tee promises to deliver iconic sporting moments with a unique atmosphere...and we can't wait until the European and U.S. Ryder Cup teams battle it out at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club.
Huge thanks to the Star Live team in Italy; they have been doing an amazing job despite the sustained and unprecedented heatwaves in southern Europe. 🇮🇹☀️

In addition to delivering the Great Oak Stage at American Express presents BST Hyde Park, Star Live also created a unique covered hospitality grandstand: The ALL VIP Terrace - Accor Live Limitless.

Working with long-standing clients AEG Presents and LS Events, Star Live delivered a range of upgrades to the hospitality grandstand in 2023. These included an increased capacity, additional suites, new staircases, a host of premium finishes and overlay, as well as a brand new elevated roof garden area. The common denominator for all guests on the grandstand - whether on the main terrace, in the suites, or on the roof garden - was the same amazing view of the Great Oak Stage.

24 Viewbox units created seven VIP suites (ranging in size from 30m2 to 75m2) and an open plan bar area, all of which offered key sponsors and BST Hyde Park stakeholders a best-in-class hospitality experience.

In the inaugural year of our contract with The All England Lawn Tennis Club, another part of Star Live’s scope of work for The Championships at Wimbledon was the build of the Pimm’s activation and Ticket Resale on the world-famous Hill.

These structures, consisting of two Viewbox units each, were rapidly-deployed and seamlessly installed in a single day. One of the key benefits of Viewbox is less onsite construction as well as adding an immediate visual impact wherever they are deployed. The aesthetic charm of these structures perfectly complemented the overall setting and impressive backdrop of the London vista.

Game, set, match, Star Live. 🎾

During our initial year working with the The All England Lawn Tennis Club to deliver multiple temporary structures for The Championships at Wimbledon, one of the objectives included enhancing the Southern Village to create an engaging destination that would rival the popularity of the Hill in terms of attracting visitors.
This year marked a significant milestone as the Southern Village was consolidated onto a single level, resulting in a seamless transition from the bar and seating areas, across the decking, and into the temporary structures that housed retail outlets and brand activations from prominent names such as American Express, Ralph Lauren, Vodafone, and Babolat.

The Quiet Room and Used Balls structures (both created from Viewbox units) were integrated beneath the grandstand of Court 12, necessitating their installation prior to the construction of the grandstand itself.

Notably, the Southern Bar area featured a large screen for the first time. The bar was built with nine Viewbox units, all precisely positioned so the broadcasting studio could be located on top.

The space proved to be an overwhelming triumph, witnessing an unprecedented influx of traffic and prolonged dwell time in the Southern Village. Its luxurious finish and design seamlessly blended with the overall aesthetic of the site, solidifying its position as an integral part of the Wimbledon experience. 🎾

Wimble-done! After securing a competitive tender in 2022 to supply temporary structures for The Championships at Wimbledon, Star Live is delighted to share that the inaugural year of our involvement with this prestigious event has been a resounding success!

Over a 10-week period, Star Live delivered almost 50 temporary structures across three sites – a mix of PVC roofed structures and Viewbox units - our innovative modular structure. Each temporary structure was crafted with meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the premium standards synonymous with The All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Among these structures was the remarkable Centenary Restaurant, a double deck temporary building measuring 30m x 15m. Originally introduced to Wimbledon last year to commemorate 100 years of Centre Court, this year saw several enhancements to harmonise the aesthetics of the structure with the permanent facilities on-site. Through the addition of cladding, fascias, custom green window frames, complemented by a low-curved roof, the structure seamlessly blended in to SW19 and was representative of the iconic Wimbledon brand. 🎾

Last weekend was extremely busy for Star Live! After an amazing series of shows from P!nk, Guns N'Roses, Take That, BLACKPINK, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and Billy Joel, American Express presents BST Hyde Park came to a close with the enchanting Lana Del Rey. From the iconic Great Oak Stage, through to the innovative hospitality structure and brand activations, Star Live delivered a full range of temporary structures across the event.

It was also British Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone, where Star Live delivered a VerTech stage for Calvin Harris and Jess Glynne alongside brand activations across the site.

Rod Stewart and The Who took to another of our VerTech stages, set beautifully in Edinburgh Castle’s Esplanade. Dermot Kennedy will finish the run of shows today.

Yet another VerTech stage hosted the Lumineers this weekend, bringing the Crystal Palace Festival to a close.

And one of our Orbit stages finished its 10-day stint in Manchester's Castlefield Bowl for the Sounds of the City series of events, an integral part of Manchester’s music calendar in recent years.

American Express presents BST Hyde Park is back for 2023…and its opening weekend was bigger and better than ever before! The first weekend saw two electric performances from global pop icon P!nk, with Gwen Stefani in support.

Star Live’s Titan stage - the most advanced stage system in the world - once again created BST Hyde Park’s iconic Great Oak Stage. The stage has a range of design features all tailored towards creating the ultimate production facility for the world's biggest artists. Star Live also delivered the cranes required for Pink's incredible acrobatic aerial displays and flying routines!

Weekend two will see Guns N’ Roses, Take That and BLACKPINK take to the stage for another unforgettable run of shows. Weekend three brings BST Hyde Park to a close with two nights of rock legend Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, New York icon Billy Joel, and the enchanting Lana Del Rey closing the show on Sunday 09 July.

Star Live is pleased to announce it has secured a significant investment from LDC, part of Lloyds Banking Group.

The investment will support the next stage of Star Live’s ambitious growth journey, including further overseas expansion as well as investing in its people, brand, facilities and inventory of equipment.

LDC is backing Star Live’s existing management team – led by Chief Executive Officer Grahame Muir and Chief Commercial Officer Simon Broyd. Technical Director Roger Barrett and Central Services Director Lauren Stephens also continue to play pivotal roles on the management team.

From the King's Coronation to Kings of Leon. 👑

This weekend saw two-night sell out shows for Kings of Leon at the famed Welsh football club Wrexham AFC.

The energy and enthusiasm at both nights was truly remarkable, with the band keeping the city's feel-good factor strong after their recent promotion back to the football league.

This was the first gig held at the iconic Racecourse Ground for a number of years, and the Star Live team worked diligently behind the scenes to ensure our VerTech stage provided a fitting backdrop for this unforgettable experience.

At the end of a football season that saw Wrexham earn a Hollywood-style promotion back to the football league, the Star Live team has landed at the iconic Racecourse Ground, home of Wrexham AFC, as multi-BRIT and Grammy award-winning band Kings of Leon prepare for two huge outdoor shows over the Bank Holiday Weekend. VERTECH STAGE INCOMING!

For the last few weeks a Star Live team has been building the stage for the King’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle.

The first of May's Bank Holiday Weekends saw details of Britain’s biggest ever stage released by BBC Studios ahead of the Coronation celebrations.

Music superstars will perform on the patriotic platform, measuring 95 metres wide and creating a giant Union Jack covered by a crown-shaped roof.

Boasting an enormous surface area of 960m2, it dwarfs the stages used for other historic occasions such as Live Aid and the Jubilee Celebrations.

Claire Popplewell, creative director of BBC Studios, said of the super-structure: “We hope His Majesty likes it. It’s in his back garden!”

Alongside the stage, Star Live is also building all the grandstand seats and the Royal Box.

Star Live was created in summer 2019 from the merger of four established and respected businesses; Star Events, Mobile Promotions, Beautiful Minds and BluePeg - all outstanding successes in their own fields. The opportunity to offer clients significant added value and complementary services in a rapidly evolving event landscape appealed to all of the business founders.

Star Events has been designing and building staging and rigging for major music, sporting and cultural events in the UK and Europe for more than 40 years. Mobile Promotions are industry pioneers in the use of mobile trailers, road shows and brand activations. Beautiful Minds created a new breed of event staffing and brand ambassador agency.
