UPDATE: We're on the final straight with the relocation but the chaos is beyond my expectations. I anticipate it will be a couple of months before the workshop is set up and BD can reopen for business. Watch this space!

After much fiddlin' and fettlin' (and colourful language!) today, I managed to make an alu replacement clamp bar for the Premier #632-45 snare butt plate. Now I can sort out all those I've got that are missing the clamp!

Premier 14" 10 lug die cast hoops, 1x batter side and 1x snare side. These were made from a new mould about 10 years ago. They have a slightly deeper profile than the traditional Premier die cast hoops. This pair was fitted to a drum and the drum went into storage and was only used a handful of times, so the hoops are in excellent condition. £200 for the pair + shipping (UK only) or free collection sth Cambs. Back to the grind after 'issues' brought everything to a halt, normal service has resumed (such as it can at Blenheim Towers). Finishing off the HR9. Shell polished, new foam rings installed, now dealing with the fiddly bits.

From my personal collection, my Premier tri-band kit needs a new home.
It started life life as a 1977 D717 concert tom kit, all mahogany shells that I converted to double headed with a second row of 436-20 lugs. Premier die cast hoops throughout (including the 18" floor tom) except for the 15" which has pressed steel hoops. All tension rods are square head.
13" x 9", 14" x 10", 15" x 12", 16" x 15", 18" x 16", 24" x 14".
The bass drum has an ultra rare internal bass drum mute (not a damper) fitted, the 16" has a handy towel hook using the original tom mount holes. I'll include a heavy duty Lokfast triple tom stand which can be easily converted to be used in the bass drum mount socket.
With all the die cast hoops, stand and rare BD mute, I think £ 650 is a fair price. Collection only from sth Cambs. Get in touch via the contact page on the Blenheim Drums website if you need more info.

Still at it with the HR9, getting rid of the last traces of crud. It's beginning to look a bit more presentable!

Made some progress, the worst of the 'rash' has been polished out. Now to get a nice, even shine all over! I'm going to save that for next week as my back is ****ed now.

A new month, a new challenge! This HR9 has some serious 'corrosion' going on around the lugs, I'm hoping it's just a surface 'growth' and there's unblemished brass is underneath.
