✈️ OPEN FOR BUSINESS ✈️

I’m back and raring to go after a lovely week in Northumberland celebrating the New Year.
I’ve never spent any real time up there before and feel like we only scratched the surface. There are so many beautiful towns and villages to explore, not to mention endless castles. Some sadly close over the winter but we did enjoy wandering around Bamburgh. Gorgeous Beaches too although we didn’t brave any of them… it was a tad chilly! 🥶
We couldn’t go all that way without a trip to Edinburgh, only an hour on the train. We met Paddington, ate Haggis, Neeps and Tatties and wandered around the Christmas markets enjoying the festive yet very wet and soggy atmosphere. I do love Edinburgh… even in the rain! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Down the road from where we were staying was Cragside Estate which was beautiful and home to the UK’s tallest living Christmas tree! 🌲 A dusting of snow that day made it magical.

I just need to decide where we will celebrate next New Year now 🫣🤭

As always I want to thank each and every one of you for booking with me this year, recommending me to others or even just sharing my posts! You have all helped make 2024 another successful year in which my business has continued to grow and top my 2023 sales! 🤩

Those of you that book with me know I take the time to get to know you so I can find the holidays you love! I don’t like to work via email, I like to talk and get as much info as I can so I’m getting it 100% right for YOU!

When I have booked some of my customers somewhere and they come back and book again for the following year that means I’ve done a good job however when they message me from their balcony and book again for a third year before they’ve even left… that means I’ve nailed it! 💪🏼

Back in the office today after spending the most relaxing, amazing week in Calvi, Corsica 🇫🇷
I can’t begin to tell you how beautiful this place is from the quaint little streets in the old town to the bustling Marina. The clear blue sea to the sunsets and sunrises that are some of the prettiest I’ve seen. The walk up the Citadel to stand and look over the full town to jumping on the little train to the next seaside town of ile Rousse.
We stayed in the Adults Only Le Home apartments, small, private, very traditional nestled in the most beautiful gardens. 3 pools all equally as quiet.. have you ever seen so many empty sun loungers in August?? Sometimes we were the only people around the pool making it feel like we were in our own private villa.
We travelled with one of my excellent suppliers, Corsican Places who where there to greet us at the airport. The 2hr flight from Stansted with BA was a dream and the 10 minute transfer even better!

I could talk about this trip all day long but I am sharing my pics with you so you can all see for yourselves. I know so many of you who would love this place and can’t wait to chat about it!

Corsica, you were stunning… until next time (and there will definitely be a next time for us) ❤️🥂☀️

The best way to explore the island of Corsica is without doubt by car, or by bicycle if you're one of the rare breed of outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy almost vertical, tortuous uphill climbs and many a hairpin bend. If driving while on holiday is not for you, staying in towns like Calvi and L’Ile Rousse in la Balagne are the perfect choice. 😎

Explore stunning beaches, wander through the cobbled streets of the Citadel, take part in some water sports or join a boat trip, there are plenty of ways to make the most of your holiday on the 'Island of Beauty' by foot. 🚶‍♀️

1. Soak up the sun on one of the many glittering sand and shallow shelving beaches 🌴

2. Hop on the tourist train which takes you from Calvi to L'ile Rousse and stops at several destinations along the way 🚄

3. Visit the Notre Dame de La Serra, affording wonderful views and plenty of history 💒

4. Wander along the picturesque marina and indulge in some much deserved gelato 🍧

5. Take a boat trip to marvel the Girolata & Scandola Nature Reserve 🐟
