Daga Projects have had the pleasure of sponsoring Pudsey Congs Cricket Club this weekend for there very first Beer Festival!

We’ve had a great time and tried our best to sample every beer there. It’s a tough job but somebody’s got to do it!

Thanks again for everyone involved at the club and other sponsors. Looking forward to next year.

Daga projects have recently completed a 440 sqm MF ceiling contract on behalf of Franklin and Gilmore.
The scope of the works involved ensuring the ceiling met a 60 minute fire rating and all the services were surface mounted to create a stylish industrial look to the new office.

What a difference afew months makes. DAGA Projects won the contract to complete the joinery and dry lining package on an old major house in Wakefield, which later became a hospital! The building was in a bad way and needed a lot of structural work, however the outcome is now 11 1-3 bedroom apartments. This was an enjoyable job to be on and the pictures speak for themselves

Here we have made use of the alcove space in a bedroom with these beautiful bespoke wardrobes. Keeping in theme with the house we have created a shaker style door which gives these units some fantastic character.

Here is a great example of how to utilise your alcove space. We installed some bespoke chunky shelving and a new storage unit to give this alcove a usable and Modern update. Finished in the same colour as the walls everything blends in perfectly like it has always been there.

We are looking for a candidate that has qualifications within the joinery or shopfitting background that is competent to carry out tasks independently as well as within a team to a high standard.

Requirements:
 NVQ Level 2/3 Qualifications
 Complete set of tools
 Full clean Driving licence
 Self-motivated & positive work ethic

We are an LS28 based business so ideally lives close to this area.

Willing to cover work in all areas of West Yorkshire and across the UK.

Career focused and willing to learn different areas of the trade.

With the easing of lock down on the horizon, virus protective desk dividers may be a requirement to enable companies to get up and running again, they are already used widely within the retail industry. They can help prevent direct contact with other workers in the office and adhere to the social distancing measures.

Daga Projects are working with ActionPlas who are the manufacturers of this product and we take care of the installation.

They are made from acrylic plastic for a low maintenance wipe down surface and mounting brackets that are fastened to the desks therefore there is no damage to the furniture.

These would be a great investment for your company once the time comes.

Last summer, Daga Projects carried out work on the new canteen at the Merchants Taylors Boys School in Liverpool.

We were appointed the drylining and ceiling package, to add new walls and replace the existing suspended ceiling with a higher more exposed ceiling.

We framed out and plaster boarded each individual timber beam and added a new independent MF ceiling within each section.

The final finishes were carried out by the talented Stephanie from FatFish

Here’s a great example of how changing the floor covering can brighten up a room. We removed the black tiles and replaced them with a light grey oak LVT, giving this kitchen and hallway a great Modern touch @ Leeds

Here’s a summer house we completed just before Christmas, the existing summer house was beyond repair so the only option was to create a whole new one. A treated timber frame clad with treated shiplate cladding Will give a long lasting construction. Insulation in the walls and ceiling provide a nice warm room for those cold winter workouts. Finally a fibre glass roof provides a fully water tight seal and a modern look. plastering work completed by @ Yeadon, Leeds

Earlier on this week Daga rolled out the red carpet for Roomzzz Aparthotel. The bold coloured carpet and brass fittings gives a touch of class to the outside of the building that matches it’s stunning interior.

Here’s a some soundproofing work we carried out for a client that has loud machinery set up next to an office wall. With the correct acoustic testing we have been able to achieve a minimum sounds level so that their company will not be able to hear a thing whilst doing paperwork.

Here’s a bespoke coat closet that we have made in place of a exposed coat rail. The client wanted us to match the new unit to the existing wall panelling to maintain the same style throughout the restaurant.
