Jen Pringle studied at Brighton University and acquired a BA Hons in Art and Design and has over 20 years experience in marketing, working with leading brands including Panasonic, Honda and Dior, as well as working with councils, funded projects, SMEs and small startups. From logo design, stationery, marketing materials to social media graphics, Pen & Pringle is passionate about creating design so

lutions that both deliver and delight. We really get to know our clients. We do all we can to understand the people they’re trying to reach. Then we take what we know and create something special. Working with clients across the UK, Pen&Pringle operates remotely but is always happy to meet clients for more in depth briefs or onsite work, dependent on location. Oh how I need this sunshine today. I’m full of cold today, one of the delights of working with preschoolers! It’s a cosy day for me today with endless cups of tea and warm woolies 🫖🧣☀️

My pigeons are flying out the door at the moment and it makes me beam from ear to ear. Yesterday in the brutal winds, the lovebirds, 2 rather plump pigeons that always visit our garden decided to take cover in one of our apple trees, shielding themselves from the 50mph winds. I smiled as I watched the feathered couple huddle up together to keep warm and protect one another from the storm. Made me think of me and my husband and the storms we’ve huddled up and overcome. Those pigeons hey ❤️

I read a nice article in today about glimmer hunting and how impactful it is finding the little glimmers that fill your cup. We haven’t changed out of our PJs today and we’ve had the loveliest cosy home day with lots of little glimmers making us feel rested andDr Rangan Chatterjee also listened to the wonderful today who has reminded me how a positive morning routine can offset the rest of my week - check out his post shared this morning for pointers in a good morning routine.

I always feel like my weekends go so fast which is why it’s so important to me to go slow where I can. I’m super thankful for a slow day today ❤️

Feels like the only thing to brighten up my grey Monday is some sunshine on a plate 🍳. I’ve been thinking a lot about escaping somewhere warm. It doesn’t help that I’m designing a logo for someone who emigrated to Australia a good few years ago and is living their best life. Seriously craving some warmth!!! For now, I’ll have to make do with my electric blanket and warming my toes by the fire! 🔥🧡

Love the colour of these blooms that I’m pressing for my latest orders. How gorgeous are they? I’ve been appreciating the sunshine flooding into my home these last few days so that my stationery can dry in the warmth of the sun. Today has been a jam packed day getting draft concepts to clients, squeezing in some selfcare with my pilates, a few errands and appointments, packing up stationery orders and brainstorming ideas for a new insta to log my early years activities and ideas. I’m looking forward to a more relaxing evening and of course tonight’s episode of Traitors! I should be studying really but I need to know who’s out next?! Who are your bets on? 🤔

Curling up in the warm is all I want to do on days like these, as demonstrated by our Scoobs. It’s all about comfort for me in the Winter. A warm fire 🔥 big wooly socks 🧦 fleecy blankets and today I got great comfort from having Dido on shuffle. I don’t know why but I fancied listening to a bit of Dido and I forgot how much I loved her songs back in the 90s. I’d definitely recommend a bit of Dido as a Winter playlist! 🪵🎶🔥

So the kids are back at school and it’s incredibly quiet without them! Oh hello… It’s been nice to switch off and enjoy a month’s break from socials. The Summer has flown by and what fun we’ve had! I’ve eaten loads. Read loads. And I’m recharged - well I was until I went camping in the horrific rain with friends over the bank holiday. But the sunshine is back and I’m manifesting an Indian Summer!
