Carrying out an EICR today so here is a short video to explain what that involves
So as we are having a (last minute) admin day today, quoting on various domestic projects, but that doesn't make for an interesting social media post!
So instead we are again sharing this video of a job we carried out a few years ago at a shopping centre, upgrading their indoor market, outdoor lighting and a host of other projects for them.
If you haven't seen it before, we hope you enjoy it and if you have any questions then please ask away!
Spring is on it's merry way. With the days getting brighter, longer and warmer, maybe now it's time to look at outdoor power and lights in your garden.
From an outdoor socket and wall light, to hot tub supplies, feature garden lighting and outdoor heaters, we can cater to any outdoor requirements so please get in touch and make the most of the British Spring time.
It starts with a phone call...
We were recently contacted by someone who's power had tripped and had been told it was a fault on the Consumer Unit.
After asking a few questions we were able to narrow the fault down to an appliance in the kitchen, which when unplugged allowed the RCD to reset and saved them a call out fee.
We offer a 24 hour call out service, but in the first instance will always try to diagnose the problem over the phone to rule out a few of the common faults before attending.
Today I'm re-sharing this video we had filmed last year, show casing some of the work we have carried out at a Shopping Centre near Birmingham.
I won't say too much as I want to let the video do the talking, but if you have any questions then please let me know.
Finally once again I want to say a massive thank you to Emma and Michal at RYG Films for the work they did last year in filming this.
Part 3
And finally part 3 now it's all been completed. I'm definitely not a natural at this but wanted to try something a bit different. So if you have any comments or questions on the videos I've done today then please let me know
The mid point
Video number 2. Work is progressing well and on track, so just a quick update on the mid point and I'll do another final one later once the work is finished and on and working.
Starting work in Thetford
Doing something slightly different today, I'll be doing a short series of videos showing some of the work we are doing today.
So I'll film another update in a few hours when we are slightly further into the job.
Start of rip out
Starting at another small commercial unit in Thetford today. Starting off by ripping the existing electrical installation out in its entirety before installing conduit for LED strip lights, sockets and the roller shutter door supply.
Disco lights
Whilst carrying out part of a Fire Alarm upgrade we had also been asked to look at the ground floor lights which had an issue when the power to them was turned off.
When we return to finish off we will be adding fault finding the disco lights onto the list as well!
