Not quite the low impact sport we all assume it to be.
I remember climbing in El Chorr many years ago where a section of the cliff ( previously developed) had been fenced off to preserve some plant species. The local ( UK owned ) climbing hostelry encouraged their patrons to break the fence and keep using the routes.
Time to limit constant new routing ??

Wildcountry Consultants Ltd are a very professional and established DofE Approved Activity Provider and are looking for experienced DofE supervisors and assessors to join our team in 2025.
We operate predominantly in the South West of England and Wales but also extend to London and Birmingham areas.
Rates of pay range from £165 - £225 a day depending on role.
You will preferably hold a summer ML qualification and have an enhanced DBS, and current two day First Aid certificate although we may consider Hill and Moorland Leader depending upon experience and area of operation.
