We have been busy at work and we now have two extra rooms and one extra downstairs w.c/shower to add to the main house ...

We have been busy at work and we now have two extra rooms and one extra downstairs w.c/shower to add to the main house in the annexe. This is a sneak preview of the first bedroom all ready for our guests.

The final step will be to renovate the upstairs bedrooms, redo the small shower room downstairs and then the garden will be redone and landscaped in spring.

This will mean we will now have 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms moving forward.

We aim to have 6/7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in total by summer 2024. 😍👍🐕

It's coming along slowly as it's a completely family affair but we can't wait to share with you as we progress.

This is a different view of our house from what was once the Lord and Lady's residence across the lane. So Croft Cottage - Holidays in Cumbria used to be the stablemaster's cottage of Roseneath and in another wing (being refurbished as we speak) the stablehands resided. Croft Cottage is the brown house on the left hand side.

I thought the members of this group would love to see these happy faces - 11 dogs this weekend at Croft Cottage - Holidays in Cumbria ❤️🐕🐾🐾🐾

Doggy information- 🐕 🐶
🐾Enclosed garden with mostly 6 and 7 foot solid fence panels, some post and rail fencing up to 5 foot and then some slatted fencing with mesh.
🐾Solid floors of stone and wood throughout ground floor , carpets upstairs.
🐾Nearby doggy daycare and agility/exercise field for hire £5 per 30mins (not ours but highly recommended).
🐾Dog towels/throws/bowls provided
Outside hose and tap for muddy paws
🐾Utility room with washer and dryer - plenty of space for crates
🐾Dogs welcome everywhere. Truly welcoming for dogs as most of you have gotten to know from us over the last 2 years we've been in this group.☺️

Human info:
🍄Location in a tiny hamlet tucked away down a country lane that leads to open countryside footpaths and alpacas and sheep in fields.
💙Detached huge house (by end Feb we will have 5 bedrooms, at the moment it's 3 well appointed rooms and we are refurbishing one wing of the house between guests)
💙Beaches 5-10 mins away
💙Lakes 25 mins away
🐕Walks galore around the cottage and further afield, see pictures of what's all within 30 mins radius
💙Close to amenities if you fancy a night out or a cinema so not too remote!
💙Dog sitting available Subject to availability

Beaches nearby us - Allonby, Solway Coast AONB I am sometimes selfishly reluctant to share the love for this beach as I absolutely adore going there and love the emptiness and solitude. Its one of the best things about West Cumbria and not many visitors know about it. The sunsets are to die for and you can see all the way to Scotland. I have three rescues! My reactive dalmatian gets to run around on a beach to himself whilst my big gentle giant who is scared of the wind feels safe and happy here. The third one (half Malamute half Shepherd) needs more time and has serious issues. He will sadly never be able to be unleashed in a public place for his own protection. Also because he is a wanderer and escape artist. 😄 Here's a video I took of the two of them. 😊☺️🐕 Come stay at Croft Cottage - Holidays in Cumbria see what all the fuss is about!
