Culm Valley Chair Caning Traditional split rattan cane weaving. I have been caning chairs since 1982 when, at the age of 14 I caned a piano stool under the instruction of my mother.

I now have more than 30 years experience behind me. I currently work from home enabling me to keep my rates at a very reasonable level. Any enquiries or questions, give me a call for a friendly chat, I look forward to hearing from you. Sophie Sendra

Just starting this beauty. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of age related damage to the peg hole rails but Steve has done a lovely job repairing them and corrected someone's previous attempt that had caused further damage.
Looking forward to this, I love weaving curves ❤️

This pretty little chair arrived today. I think whoever drilled the holes may have been a little inebriated!

My own chairs that I bought at a car boot sale about 12 years ago (2006 ish), they were painted white and had plywood nailed to the seats. Stripped the paint, stuck them in the loft and there they stayed until now. Finally finished them!

Trying to remove the old cane but whoever did this chair before has put Superglue in the peg holes instead of pegs🙄😫
