Great times in Holland with the introduction to the tribal talent contest.
For everyone to record their individual rat moment and share it with the rest of the world. Go on, you know you want to “Feed the Rat” ……………………………..
Yearning - desire, longing, yen,
Enthusiasm - eagerness, interest, passion, zeal
Excitement – enthusiasm, thrill, exhilaration, anticipation, pleasure
Calm – tranquil, peaceful, quiet, still, composed, serene, relaxed
All these and more define how “Feeding the Rat” may feel to you. Only you know which ones really hit the mark for you, but you can get the chance to share some of that feeling with
the rest of us by taking your “Feed the Rat” T-shirt on your journeys, photographing yourself where you feel any or all of the above, then posting that pic on our Face book page. Don’t stop there though, pass your T-shirt on to other like-minded folk and get them to show us what “Feeds their Rat”
The original “Feed the Rat” T-shirt has travelled thousands of miles; been photographed in jungles, in temples and on top of mountains, hopefully all the new ones will have the same life changing experiences only this time shared with the world!

This something close to my heart having to been to area several times to live with the Penan people of Sarawak Borneo. They are loosing their natural habitat through logging. Knowing the Penan people personally and how this will affect them is very sad. Help save their jungle by signing the petition. It takes literally one minute to complete.
The Mulu National Park is threatened by an oil palm development in ist immediate vicinity! Please help to preserve this valuable rainforest and sign the petition now!

I just can’t think of the last time when my peers told me that they want to go out in the scalding-hot dessert, blistering cold, eat bugs and not have a toilet anywhere in sight! Apart from survival skills, what else can a survivalist possibly teach a group of ambitious student year 12’s and 13’s? B...

As some of you know last year (2011) I went to Borneo to do a bit of trekking and to learn real jungle survival from the Penan. After spending a week one on one with a local Penan guy called Parry I thought I should test myself for 24 hours and see if I could survive with just a machete and the knowledge that I had been taught. This clip shows myself at the end of a long hard day that survival is only as hard as you make. Yep I totally loved it. Enjoy Sully PS Shortly after this clip is rained, the fire went out and I got bitten to death. Have to laugh now.
