What a milestone. When The National Forest was first conceived, tree coverage was as low as 6%. Today we’ve reached 25% and the countryside is completely transformed. Pretty inspiring isn’t it?

Celebrating our latest milestone! 🎉

Following three decades of environmental regeneration, we’re proud to announce we’ve reached 25% forest cover, showcasing the power of collective efforts in green growth.🌳

This milestone shows how trees can act as the catalyst for transformation, and that it really is possible for housing, industry, and biodiversity to grow side by side. 💚

We would like to thank our landowners, farmers, businesses, and local communities who have helped us to achieve this target. Your continuing support is invaluable as we continue to grow the Forest and work towards our next goal of 10 million trees. 🙏

Celebrating our awesome planet. Here are some of the actions we take to help ensure it’s still as beautiful for future generations.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle ♻️ We avoid single use plastics, provide loan picnic rucksacks with reusable crockery and encourage guests to bring their own reusable hot drinks cups.

Plant trees 🌳 Trees are essential for absorbing carbon dioxide. We donate £10 from every booking towards helping support the National Forest.

Travel sustainably 🚲 🥾 What could be more sustainable than a walking or cycling holiday? Even better, guests arriving by public transport get a 5% discount off the price of their holiday.

Conserve water 💦 We adopt a low water, chemical free wash method, when cleaning our bikes between bookings.

Support local 🛍️ We love sharing our favourite local indie shops, cafes and restaurants with guests. We also love experiences.

Together, we can make a difference and ensure a greener, healthier future for generations to come. Good planets are hard to find. Let’s not blow it.

The early morning frost soon gave way to the most stunning autumn sunshine this morning. 🍁Perfect for a walk through the gorgeous Staunton Harold Estate, followed by a delicious breakfast ☕️😋

On the 10th to 12th November, visitors will have the unique opportunity to visit , a festive artisan fair, which will be held inside Staunton Hall. The beautiful rooms will be filled with carefully selected artisans and makers showcasing British craftsmanship at its finest.
