Poor Star was looking very sad when Mell went to see him last week. This poor boy has such a sweet soul but has been at Pawprints for ages.
He would prefer a home with only a female owner. Can social media do it's thing and help him find a home? Let's get this boy happy again!

Sometimes a picture speaks for itself, and this just sums up exactly what Honey is so desperately looking for. Unfortunately we’re unable to fit a larger furniture in her kennel, but we have tried to make her kennel as homely as possible for her😞

Poor honey is struggling so much with kennel life, to the point where she’s now trying to jump out of her kennel💔

Honey is such a loving girl, who like all of our dogs, does not deserve to be in kennels.

Honey often spends lunch time in the office with the kennels staff, where all she does is lounge on the sofa having cuddles.

We are in real desperate need of finding honey a foster home, or a home for adoption.

It’s breaking our hearts seeing her so stressed out, especially when we have to leave for the evening😞

Honey is 5 years old and has spent most of her life in a home environment. She has so much love to give.

Please please, please can someone give her a chance she so desperately deserves ❤️

Just like us, dogs have temperature preferences. Post a pic of your dog enjoying the cold, or all wrapped up!

Battersea dog Quaker is feeling festive for ! 🎄

Dogs have their own beautiful coats of fur, so there’s not much need for much extra! You may want to put a dog coat during cold weather if you have a fine-coated dog. Always ensure that their coat or jumper is comfortable and doesn’t restrict them at all.

This is great advice. What else do you do to keep your dog happy through the cold months?

❄️ Winter tip ❄️
Check your dog’s paws and dry them thoroughly after they've been outside. This is especially important with long-haired dogs, as they are prone to snow compacting between their toes and turning into ice balls, which can prove very painful. If they are agreeable, you could trim the long hair between your dog’s toes to help prevent this.
