We have just recently found out we are a finalist in the Devon Tourism Awards 2020 for ‘Experience of the Year’ – which we are delighted about! Surfside Kayak Hire is located in the seaside village of Combe Martin, nestled in the western edge of Exmoor, our shop is 50 metres from the beach. You can be reassured that you are in safe hands as all our kayak guides are British Canoeing trained. Our kayak tours start with a 1-hour mini tour suitable for beginners and families with younger children. Our most popular tour is a 2-hour scenic tour along our stunning coastline visiting many secluded coves, beaches and sea caves. Tours are tailored to your ability and are suitable for all ages. We provide changing facilities onsite and all equipment is included in the price of the tour. You can also bring your dog on the kayaks – we have dog buoyancy aids.

Wednesday is “kayak club night” where everyone is welcome to join us for a fun paddle NO membership required. Always check with us to make sure that we are paddling then just turn up and join in, if you reqire a kayak for the evening then it is advisable to book one early as this can be a busy time. We always have a selection of used and new kayaks for sale so call in and have a chat before you purchase a new kayak.
