🏡✨ Just finished a week decorating at Barn Owls! 🎨 We gave it a makeover for the season:

🪑 Upgraded to a new table and 4 chairs.
🌈 Added stylish new curtains.
🏠 Even though it's bijou, we love our homely touches!
🌳 Plus, for those who prefer a healthier cooking option, we've added an air fryer for guests to use instead of the oven. 🔥✨

In mid-February, we're having fire doors installed to comply with the latest regulations. 🔒 Safety first, always! Once this is done, we'll be all set and ready to welcome you with bookings available from beginning of March.

An absolute must to stop here for fresh free range eggs. Great produce including fresh milk so remember to take a container with you or you can purchase a glass bottle for reuse.

If you’re lucky they’ll have available their yummy home made cakes and biscuits too plus potatoes, jams and chutneys from other local suppliers.

A cold walk round the donkey fields opposite Barn Owls this morning followed by a visit to the newly opened cafe and launderette in the old clubhouse on site. A fine cooked breakfast went down a treat and dogs welcome!

🏖️ There are 76 beaches in Devon that allow dogs and a further 36 where dogs are restricted (1 May - 30 Sept).

🦮 Owners can walk their dogs on all East Devon beaches between 1 October and 30 April 🐾

Driven past the sign for Blackbury Honey Farm many times which is literally 5 minutes away by car. Lovely cafe with yummy food and beautiful gardens, not dog friendly though. They also do Bee Keeping courses which would need to be booked in advance.

Another reminder to stay off EAST BEACH here at sidmouth. Lifeguards have been advising all summer so far to stay off that beach. Todays fall missed someone by a matter of minutes.
Please take note of signs and follow the advice from the lifeguards.
