This charming detached house is set in a small hamlet in the heart of rural Normandy. Comfortably furnished, it is ideal for families, with plenty to keep everyone entertained. Lovely local market towns and in easy reach of the hot spots in Normandy. Stunning beaches only one hour away. When resting at the house, books, games, above the ground private pool (which is available to use during July an

d August), bbq, sauna and a TV with free view, is there to be enjoyed. Very local towns, Sourdeval and Tinchebray both have weekly markets. Boulangerie only 5 minutes away. Outside is a lawned garden for relaxing on sunny days. The front is gravel and perfect for sitting out with a glass of Rose whilst playing a game of boule. Ground floor: open plan living room with wood burner, comfortable seating, dining table for 6, kitchen with gas cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. First floor: Master bedroom, two further bedrooms (one double and one with bunk beds and single bed). Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC and basin. Splendid walks start immediately you step outside the house. Travelling Times to the house: St Malo, Caen 1 hour. Ryanair fly to Dinard which is 1 hour away. Cherbourg 1.35 hours & Calais 4 hours. Local Markets days are: Tuesday: Sourdeval. Wednesday: St Hilaire du Harcouet. Friday: Mortain. The town of Vire is almost entirely dedicated to food. Friday is market day & love it or hate it, there's no escaping Vire's speciality, blood sausage! There is also an Aquapark. Mortain (8 miles away), gateway town to the Normandie-Maine Regional Park, has superb panoramic views over the delightful River Rance with stunning walks along the waterfalls. In the summer there is an outdoor pool open to the public. Mont St Michel, Bayeux, Vire, Villedieu les Poeles, Caen, Domfront and the sandy beaches of the D-Day landings are not far. A message to all of our friends in the UK. Following the publication of the UK’s roadmap out of the Covid crisis, we look forward to 17 May with optimism and hope that many of you will be allowed to travel abroad from that day onward. The plan announced is of course only the first step, and we will need to wait for a co-ordinated approach to lifting restrictions in France too, but as soon as that happens, we will be ready to welcome you back to Normandy with open arms. We’d love to see you if at all possible ❤
