A truly stunning ship with amazing attentive service, fabulous food....and of course cocktails, brilliant entertainment in the theatre....WOW, WOW, WOW.....I wish I could be a stowaway! What a fabulous weekend in Manchester at the Travel Counsellors Annual Conference!
It was so good to meet up with fellow Travel Counsellors, our wonderful suppliers and colleagues from Venus who once again put on an amazing event.
This year's speakers were the best ever and were so inspirational, they included Fearne Cotton, Sara Davies MBE, Ellie Simmonds OBE, Maggie Alphonsi MBE & the wonderful Louis Theroux. Every one of them had a different message for us but all so apt.
Thanks to everyone involved for all your hard work. Looking forward to .

It's that time of year again!

Just arrived in Manchester for 3 days of our amazing Travel Counsellors Conference. There'll be motivational speakers, training, amazing suppliers and the all important question.......who will the Saturday night entertainment be?

Had such an informative day of training yesterday at the Travel Counsellors Ski and Niche Supplier event. It's always great to meet and learn from the experts in their field and to meet and chat with other Travel Counsellors too.

There's still availability on the slopes for the coming season so whether you like to ski, snowboard or just enjoy activities in the snow and haven't booked yet then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Why use a Travel Counseller?

Hopefully this lovely feedback received from my clients will help to explain why. They were unfortunately caught up in the recent wildfires in Rhodes:

I wanted to write and say a huge THANK YOU for being a brilliant Travel Counsellor!
As usual, you found us a fantastic holiday within budget and our requirements, answering any questions beforehand and supplying us with all of our documents and information required.
When we got to Gatwick on Saturday 22nd July we didn't know what was to come...a hugely delayed flight at the airport as people around us were reacting to the news of the fires on Rhodes. After speaking to you, you checked our hotel was still open (it was) and suggested if there was any issue with the transfer to get ourselves to the hotel and TC would reimburse us. Unfortunately while we were in the air the situation on Rhodes had changed so when we landed at 4.00am local time the road to the hotel was closed. We were then transferred to a local evacuation centre along with many other families. While they were desperately trying to get through to some of the big operators, I spoke to yourself and to Duty Office who ascertained where we were and tried very hard to find us alternative accommodation/flights home. In the end we managed to find a lift to our hotel with a volunteer and arrived later that day. You were in constant contact with us to check that we were safe, offering us reassurances and also advice. As a family we felt secure that you and TC had our best interests at heart and made what was a hugely stressful experience a whole lot more manageable. So thank you once again, I honestly don't know why anyone wouldn't use Travel Counsellors for their trip bookings. We were also very appreciative of the 'Welcome Home' pack waiting on our doorstep at 1.00am when we arrived home.

Just returned from the fabulous 5* Cap St Georges Hotel near Paphos in Cyprus. This stunning hotel aims to have something for everyone and it certainly doesn't disappoint!

Liverpool was the home of the Travel Counsellors conference this weekend and the first for 3 years, it certainly didn't disappoint!

After the uncertainty of the effect of the pandemic on the travel industry it was fabulous to see so many friends and colleagues again after so long and emotions were certainly running high!

There was plenty of time to meet with many of our suppliers and it was so good to have the opportunity to talk to them and find out more about their amazing products.

We were also lucky to be joined by some amazing inspirational speakers including Rebecca Adlington who talked to us about her journey to Gold and Sir Lenny Henry who was simply brilliant.

The weekend was completed with some brilliant entertainment. Friday evening was hosted by Travel Counsellors favourite Vernon Kay and we were treated to a funfair (the first time I've been on the dodgems and a Ferris wheel for a very long time!) where we had fish and chips and a '99' in beach deckchairs - such fun! Saturday evening was the award ceremony and entertainment provided by Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls and my favourites Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden who make up Boyzlife.

Well done Travel Counsellors, looking forward to next year already!

It's been far too long.....really looking forward to attending the CLIA Cruise Conference this weekend. It's a perfect opportunity for me to visit some amazing ships and experience all they have to offer.

Well, it's certainly been a tough couple of years for travel but I'd just like to thank all my lovely customers, friends and family for all their support during this time.

I've spent many, many hours, cancelling, refunding, re-booking lots of travel plans but some of my customers have managed to get away & make some fantastic memories. For those people, it was even more special and from their comments, I know that they were just so grateful to have someone at the end of the phone, just in case....

Let's hope that 2022 is the year that things will get easier to make those dreams become reality. If I can help with those plans in any way, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
