As many of you will already be aware, our friend Ryan Hurlow tragically lost his father Chris Hurlow unexpectedly while he was on holiday in Portugal. It’s heartbreaking news for such a well loved and respected family and we want to send our heartfelt wishes to them at this incredibly difficult time.

Obviously it’s a brutal scenario for anyone to go through, but on top of this there have been insurance complications meaning the family have had to raise the funds for his repatriation. With the funeral and other costs needing to be paid for as well, we are looking to do a raffle for a two night midweek stay at the lodges for a couple or family.

It’s £10 per number and you can have as many as you like. We will keep it going until we’ve sold as many as we can and then use a random number generator to pick a winner. Please comment or message if you’d like a number(s).

We always massively appreciate the support we get for the charity raffles, and there’s no better cause than this one. Let’s do all we can to raise as much money for the family as we can 💙🏡

THANKS AGAIN AS WE’VE RAISED A HUGE AMOUNT FOR ROSS AND HIS FAMILY 💙💚**

As some of you are aware, unfortunately there was a collision in a cup final a couple of weeks where Ross Lynch ended up in hospital with a severe abdominal injury, resulting in a six hour op and an extended stay in hospital. It also means that he can’t work while he recovers, which is a nightmare for a self employed father and husband. So we are going to do a raffle to help raise some money for the family while they’re going through this.

We will be raffling a two night midweek stay for a couple, here at Rose Cotterill Cabins. It will be the usual format. £10 per number (you can have as many as you like) and then once we have stopped selling them, I will do the draw from a random number generator to see who wins.

I’ve attached the video of the draw and will put it in the comments too. Thank you all for entering and raising a good lump for James’s family💙

Some of you may have known the heartbreaking news before Christmas of James East tragically passing away. A real lovely young man who has gone way too soon. It has obviously crushed his family and friends.

We are looking raise money that will go towards a memorial bench for James. We will be doing a raffle for a two night midweek stay for one family or one couple. It’s a beautiful log cabin, set in open countryside - with a hot in to relax under the stars in!

It will be our usual format of doing numbers 1-59 for the lottery bonus ball next Saturday. However, if the demand is greater then we will keep selling numbers to raise as much as possible for the family.

🚨🚨 CHARITY RAFFLE 🚨🚨

Are you interested in winning a two night midweek stay for a couple or a family for as little as £10…while also supporting an incredibly important cause?

Much loved Darren Phillips, committee member of Trefelin BGC, tragically took his own life on the 4th September 2019.

A Just Giving Page called the Darren Phillips Memorial Foundation has been set up.

The reason this foundation has been set up is to introduce more measures to support people struggling with their mental health, particularly in sport. Trefelin BGC are one of the first in Wales to have a mental health officer to pick up on signs and encourage people to speak up and a drop in centre is going to be in place shortly at the ground. We feel that if these sort of measures were in place when Darren was alive, he would still be here with us today. But unfortunately he’s not, so we’re trying to prevent this from happening again. I think everyone has been effected by mental health, whether their own or someone close to them. This is such an important subject and together we can make a difference.

It will be £10 per number and we will try and get as many as possible. You can have as many numbers as you like - comment or message me and I will then send you our details to transfer the money and will then allocate your number(s). If you want a specific number you can request it, if it’s not available we will give you a number.
