This one is just too good not to share with you all 😍. Last year I was invited to undertake this huge installation by We installed 6mm flooring grade ply throughout and finished off with full coat of to achieve a superior finish ready to accept the Amtico. We had a spec to work to, but working alongside our clients at and along with we finally settled on this amazing design, incorporating the two beautiful archways of the old church and keeping the X design flowing through the interior. We completed this stunning installation nearly two years ago now, for a wonderful family in Mansfield. They had developed a house and decided to use overlay wet UFH system throughout 170m2 ground floor space. We stepped up and helped them through every step of this complex preparation and installation. We used over 100 units of with help from Mitchells floor screeders and David Wilkins Flooring we managed the floor preparation with full system approach and executed it to perfection. Highland Oak LVT to complete this fantastic project. Full herringbone installation with border detail, to highlight key features in this beautiful property. Another huge herringbone installation. This was particularly challenging with a three room wrap around and join up for complete open plan living. A huge amount of floor preparation was required, a mixture of screed and ply with step rebuild. SMKP-99 was used for the final finish. This one is too good not to share. We carried out this stunning but complex installation around Easter, in a beautiful listed school building in Ruddington Nottinghamshire. Three weeks from start to finish, with a huge amount of detailed sub floor preparation, to setting out and hand cutting 250m of border design work. So pleased with the results and yet another fantastic project for Summit Flooring to involved with.

We don’t often work weekends anymore here at Summit Flooring, but when the extension and kitchen look like this, how could we say no?!😍 Fully prepared to British standards, scarification of Agilia screed, dust extraction, double prime, stopgap 1200 then Camaro Bayswater Oak to complete the look. Happy New Year to all our followers.

Here is one of my favourite projects to date! Over a year ago I was recommended to this lovely client, who had an extremely keen eye for design and detail. She came to me with a clear vision of what the end product was going to look like and tasked me to deliver. I gladly accepted the challenge and the chance to work in such a wonderful property.

I worked alongside designers and Thomas Ferns Bespoke Staircase Renovations to help deliver this one of a kind installation. Integrating Amtico with real wood on the stairs and using a black feature strip detail to frame the edge and tie in with other areas of the staircase design.

We also used Stairrods UK Ltd nosing over the step in the kitchen, to seamlessly integrate the snug with the dining area.

A truly fantastic project to work on, and always a pleasure to work for such wonderful clients.

Preparation, preparation, preparation, is our mantra here at Summit Flooring. Here is a very recent project that required a very detailed system approach to preparing the subfloor. Deepfill, DPM, Flowcrete, old adhesive residue etc.. naturally 1500 Aqua Pro was the obvious choice. With challenging weather conditions during the prep, we opted for water based smoothing compound, and we wasn’t disappointed. Fantastic product with great flow and mixes with ease. We finished this beautiful extension with Priory Oak parquet with border detail. Such a classy finish and looks so elegant flowing up and around this beautiful Navy Blue kitchen. My clients are over moon with our efforts and so are we. Yet again another stunning bespoke installation by 🏔 Summit Flooring Ltd 🏔 #1500

Another classic Parquet installation 😍 Here we had to adapt to our surroundings and change the layout in the hallway but keep the continuity and flow of this stunning classic parquet design. Complete floor and step rebuild, with painstaking time and dedication to cutting detail around the beautiful open fireplace. The results are stunning and yet another beautiful floor delivered effortlessly by 🏔 Summit Flooring Ltd 🏔

Chase that Diamond ♦️ Another technically difficult installation carried out for wonderful clients who expect the highest standards of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Well they certainly got this here. Working with the client, we diligently set out the border and executed the installation with stunning results. NOT OUR USUAL KIND OF POST BUT PLEASE READ

Our incredible friends Jessica Neal and her husband Lee are asking for help in raising funds for pioneering treatment for their beautiful baby boy Ted, who is battling an extremely rare type of cancer. The treatment that he requires is not available to them in the UK or on the NHS.

I know that this is a difficult time of year when families are already trying to make money stretch as far as possible but I am asking you to please, please donate as much or as little as you possibly can and PLEASE SHARE as far and wide as you possibly can on both personal and business accounts.

If you buy one less tub of Celebrations this Christmas you could donate £5, if you buy one less bottle of Prosecco you could donate £10. If you buy one less Chocolate Orange you could donate £1. Every penny counts towards giving Ted the best possible chance of fighting this horrible, cruel disease.

Always nice to do something a little different (especially a break from herringbone)
We pulled this one in quickly and on top of our huge workload, to help complete this stunning orangery, for a wonderful client of ours, who appreciated our efforts and put a much needed smile on her face ☺️

As usual the building and window company left the client and ourselves a mess to deal with. Poorly laid subfloor, flow screed short of frames and a fault line running right through the middle.
It’s good job we take pride our work and give each and everyone of our clients 💯 focus and attention to detail that separates us from the rest.
We installed Camaro Cambridge Oak, onto Stopgap 1200
What a wonderful transformation, and honoured to be able to help turn this one around.

Hi, sorry we have been quiet of late on our socials, work load and family life extremely busy at the moment.

We recently managed to squeeze this monster in amongst our many installations.
I was asked to fully, prep and rebuild the subfloor, then install 6mm thermal boards prior to Electric UFH installation (by ourselves) All while trying to achieve consistent levels between the new extension and existing part of the property and retro installing the thermal boards up to the new kitchen!
This resulted in over a pallet of screed and various other prep to achieve a superior subfloor,
Ready to accept Amtico.
But in doing this, means we can fully guarantee the installation from start to finish, using a full system approach.
In total this was two weeks work from start to finish.
Clients and ourselves are over the moon with the final results.

Loved doing this one for many reasons.
A beautiful little Holiday Cottage, situated in Keswick
Cumbria.
This was a few months in the planning, working to the needs and timescales of the client and main works contractor, who are also good personal friends of ours ☺️
After seeing all my flooring posts and spam, the client only had eyes for one of my beautiful, signature floors 🤩
Full floor preparation and renovation, before Camaro-Nut Tree, for the finish.
All fresh and ready to go for another busy summer season in the stunning Lake District... our favourite place.

A beautiful installation carried out here in Long Eaton last summer, for a wonderful young family.
It’s was a pleasure to put my stamp, and the finishing touches to this beautiful new extension and kitchen.
The client stuck to their guns and knew exactly what tile and design they required from the first meeting.

An interesting project, completed late last year.
I was contacted on Facebook by this lovely Family, to help transform their tiered kitchen, into a stunning modern living space.
I was recommended to them by a previous client, so had a reputation to live up to.
The Clients had already chosen the floor but needed all my experience and skill to rebuild the subfloor and make this happen.
After two days of preparation using over flooring grade ply.
We finally had the perfect subfloor ready to accept these stunning modern Hexagon tiles.
Absolutely love the end result.

This installation was around 2 months in the making. From estimating and advising the client, self designing rather than using CAD -
To actually getting the product made from
to full preparation and installation.
The client is a Builder who i work for on a regular basis, he was absolutely over the moon with the end result and i think
You will agree this is a truly stunning floor, absolutely timeless 😍
