This piece of furniture can be a Coffetable, a bedsie table or even a stool. I made it as a prototype for a custumer, who eventually discided on a more conventional looking Bedside table.
I'm using it as a table in the office, & very useful it is to!

I made this garden bench for the National Trust, The Courts Garden in Holt.

I made this ladder for a customer who needed access to their balcony from the outside. (Up until then they'd been climbing in and out througth the bedroom window!)
As the pictures show I jointed the steps into the sides using a housing joint, and the finished job was then bolted securely to the building. The wood that I used was decking timber as it had already been treated to go outside. I was pleased with the result, as was the customer.

I had to cut 100mm off the back of this chest of drawers to fit into a customers house. The drawers had to be adjusted as well as strengthening struts added to support the drawer runners. I also insisted a piece of ply to the back panel to help with structural strength. Just have to wait for the touch up paint in dry, then I can vanish the edges!

This was one of my most enjoyable commissions for the National Trust Fox Talbot museum of photography at Lacock Abbey Wiltshire. I made 30 different photograph display stands for use in the museum exhibitions. The stands were made from locally sourced English beech/lime wood and ply, they were all individually hand finished with a hard wax polish.
