The Stour and Orwell Walk The Stour and Orwell Walk continues from the end of the Suffolk Coast Path in Felixstowe, inland along the River Orwell, around the Shotley Peninsular, then along the northern side of the River Stour to Cattawade near the border with Essex. Along the way you will take in stunning views across the River Orwell and the River Stour, the picturesque Orwell Country Park, and the bustling and historic Ipswich Waterfront. There are many places to stop and pick up some delicious treats along the way, including local favourite the Suffolk Food Hall just outside Ipswich. There is also an abundance of wildlife to see, including a wealth of migrating birds that visit our shores every year. https://www.discoversuffolk.org.uk/stour-and-orwell-walk/

At this year's , we return to Thornham Walks for our launch walks. Looking back to last year, you can now enjoy a Podcast where Ben Heather, Green Access Officer, walked and talked with Patrick Barkham, nature writer and Guardian journalist, Marie Lagerberg, floral specialist, and David Falk, the Director of the Suffolk Walking Festival across floristically rich Mellis Common and an ancient Drove Road, Cowpasture Lane. The latter of which features again in this year's festival.
