Not only that, all your needs are at your doorstep with 2 pubs, one with its own micro-brewery and restaurant, a village store, a tearoom and Holmfirth vineyard all within a 5 minute walk.
Holmfirth centre with it's array of shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants is a short, flat 1 mile stroll away, or, if you prefer, the bus stop to Holmfirth, outlying villages and Huddersfield (8 miles away) to connect with train services, is less than 100 yds away, the local minibus stops on the lane at the rear of the cottage to take you to Holmfirth centre and local villages, and local taxis are competitively priced and readily available.
The close proximity to Holmfirth centre and it's transport links makes this an ideal base for guests wishing to visit events at the Picturedrome, The Holmfirth Festival of Folk, Holmfirth Food Festival, The Art Festival, Film Festival and other local events.
