CREDIT CARDS

From November 1st - thanks to blatant abuse of trust by a customer who has refused to pay a 600e bill for an accident he caused through negligence - we have sadly lost our 20 year long unique service of offering car rental with a credit card.😟 Your debit card will no longer be enough.

HOWEVER: If you don't have a credit card, don't worry, all is not lost. You can still rent a car from us for your Algarve holiday without a 'regular' credit card.
Unlike many car hire companies our local rental supplier at Faro Airport WILL accept a PRE-PAID Credit Card.
If you've not heard of these they are real credit cards from the same lenders and offer the same security as any standard credit card. The difference is that you don't borrow from them, you use your own money to top up the card with the amount you need.

If that's going to be the way you need to go to hire your car in the Algarve then just check out the different offers online - we're just making the suggestion.

The important point to remember is that it must be a physical card, a real bit of plastic - not a virtual online one. You'll simply give that to the staff at the airport when you collect your car and it will be blocked for the amount of the excess. This varies from 900euros for the small cars to 2,000 euros for a minibus and 7 seater.

Our understanding is that you can top up the card at any time, so it's a great way to save too. Most customers never have to dip into their security deposit for their car hire, so you'll inevitably come home with the 900euros still on your card.

If you're not overly familiar with the exclusions to Zero Excess CDW please check out the full terms and conditions on the website. Basically if you include our CDW insurance, which all clients generally do, this gives you a zero excess cover for any accident involving another vehicle.
Negligence is not covered.

Looking for a hire car for your holiday in the Algarve? Don't have a credit card?
You've come to the right place.

One problem is our availability. Our service, rates and reliability mean that the cars we offer at Faro Airport sell out very early, and for summer 2022 we have very few rental vehicles left.

Dates are changing all the time but as a guide we've NOTHING LEFT until at least June 15th June and from July 22 we've got pretty much nothing until August 1 - and that's changing every hour.

So if you want a car for dates in between just submit a booking form - make sure you complete ALL sections if you don't have a credit card for your car hire - and all we can promise is we'll do our best and get back to you asap....hopefully the same day but at really busy times it can take up to 48 hours.

We are also taking car hire bookings for Faro Airport collection and drop off for 2023!

THE ALGARVE IS ONE OF THE TOP EUROPEAN DESTINATIONS FOR THE BIG RETURN TO 'NORMALITY' WITH FLIGHTS AND HIRE CARS SELLING OUT FAST.
We've never known anything like it in February and are already SOLD OUT of most cars until early March!

It's May and we're tentatively moving back to 'normality'.
Hopefully things will continue to move in the right direction and travel to the Algarve will become easier as summer approaches.

If you want to book a car please leave it until you have flights booked and are sure you are definitely travelling. (Barring unforeseen Government changes that make this impossible.)

To book please give 3 days' notice if possible and if you have to travel within 48 hours please send a text to ensure your booking is picked up in good time.
