In the UK or Europe and looking to improve your SUP surfing?

We still have a couple of places available for our UK SUP surf clinics happening in Cornwall on the following weekend dates:
• 1 - 2 June
• 8- 9 June

The groups are limited to 6 surfers so everyone gets decided coaching time. The sessions will be filmed so you can watch your surfing back and benefit from video analysis. Plus, go home with a personalised coaching plan so you can continue improving.

Your coach will ensure everyone gets maximum water time and coaching feedback throughout each session and during the video analysis. More details can be found on our website and link in bio.

We’ve had such an epic time in Bali for the The Longboard Sup Revolution. event. Beau Nixon took home 3rd place against a stacked final with world champions Benoit Carpentier and Zane Kekoa Schweitzer, alongside Kai Bates. Beau’s final wave in the dying minutes of the final was amazing to watch!

“This event is so much more than competing for a title. It’s the whole longboard SUP community coming together to showcase one of the most enjoyable disciplines of our sport. The social dinners, bumping into old friends and meeting new ones, the whole vibe is like no other event. Come along next year if you’re thinking of it.”

Big shout out to Kalama Performance Australia for lending Beau a board for the event. And thanks to the photographers and drone pilots for capturing all the action and to the organisors of the event.

What a week this will be with nearly 100 SUP longboard surfers from around the world here to compete and be a part of the best event ever.

Meet Dimity who was a guest onboard our last trip in the Maldives.

Dimity is a competitive SUP surfer who needed some coaching before national and international events. She was ripping every session, improving her technique switching the paddle and getting more power and speed from her turns.

There’s so much more than just surfing onboard our Maldives boat trips.

Clare is our marine biologist and she leads guided snorkels during the trip, helping you to identify each species of fish and marine animal on the reefs. She has a trained eye to spot hidden animals like octopus, scorpionfish and lion fish so it’s always good to snorkel next to her.

Alongside snorkels, Clare delivers presentations about the local marine environment, opens up discussions about the impacts of climate on reefs and offers ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

If you are, or have, a non-surfing partner this vital piece of our trips should not be missed. (And the surfers often join snorkels and marine presentations too, because they’re so much fun!)

This poor reef manta ray got stuck in a gill net during our recent trip to Mozambique and Clare our marine biologist was able to swim down and unattach a rope at the front of its mouth (cephalic fin) and then it wiggled free from the net attached to its tail. It escaped this time but it’s so sad how much gets caught in these indiscriminate nets as I later helped released a turtle from a similar net. We partnered with a charity for our latest trip Love The Oceans who is doing everything it can to remove the nets in this area for good and provide other sustainable alternatives for fishermen.
