During the main course the actors will divulge clues and aid (or not!) your deliberations. The second part of the performance will take place on the train and dessert will be served. Finally you will dis-embark and reveal who you think did the crime.

There are six themed nights to choose from:

Saturday 13 April Murder on the Disorientated Express Steam hauled
Saturday 22 June Death and the Rock and Roll Diner Diesel hauled
Saturday 13 July Star Wreck Deep Space Crime Diesel hauled
Saturday 17 August Killer Takes It All Diesel hauled
Saturday 14 September Crime at Café Rene Steam hauled
Saturday 26 October Miss Marbles Mystery Steam hauled
This is a Dining Train event onboard one of our heritage steam trains. Seats are in open carriages around tables of two or four people.

Our onboard bar will be open serving a range of wine, beer, cider and soft drinks.

Please arrive promptly at 1815 to collect your boarding card from the station booking office. After the short introductory scene, the train will depart at 1845. After two round trips of our line, the train will return to Bitton at approximately 2130 where the criminal will be uncovered!

Under 15’s not permitted.

Suite in Three Keys - A Song at Twilight
A Song at Twilight
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7.30pm Saturday 2.30pm

Shadows of the Evening / Come Into The Garden, Maud

Wednesday 2.30pm Thursday & Saturday 7.30pm

Running Time: 2 hours 30 minutes

Tue 09 — Sat 13 Jul

“I don’t wish to sound fussy, but I really don’t care to discuss false teeth during dinner.”

Orange Tree Theatre Artistic Director Tom Littler directs Stephen Boxer, Emma Fielding and Tara Fitzgerald in a rediscovery of Coward’s trilogy.

In a luxury Swiss hotel suite in the 1960’s, three separate stories unfold:

A Song at Twilight is a full-length play about a famous elderly writer, reputedly based on Somerset Maugham, who faces blackmail at the hands of an ex-lover threatening to expose his secret past.

Shadows of the Evening and Come into the Garden, Maud form a perfect double-bill set in the same hotel suite. Shadows of the Evening explores the intricacies of a late-life love triangle, and Come into the Garden, Maud is a fizzing comedy about the misunderstandings between Americans and Europeans abroad.

Marking the 50th anniversary of Noël Coward’s death and the 125th of his birth, this is the first complete revival of Suite in Three Keys for a generation.

Tom Littler is the award-winning Artistic Director of the Orange Tree Theatre, following an acclaimed tenure as Artistic Director of London’s Jermyn Street Theatre. His productions of She Stoops to Conquer and The Circle, recently seen at the Theatre Royal Bath starring Jane Asher, were the best-selling shows in Orange Tree history. His career began at Theatre Royal Bath where he was Associate Director of the Peter Hall Company.

“A Song at Twilight is a moving coda to Coward’s career” Michael Billington, The Guardian

“A giant of the theatre” Daily Telegraph on Noël Coward.

JUST A REMINDER, TO ALL DOG OWNERS.

⚠️🚙⚠️ Despite the warnings, hundreds of dogs in the UK die every year after being left in a hot car. Someone you know may need to read this very important message. ⚠️🚙⚠️

SIX MINUTES is all it takes for a dog to overheat in a hot car.

Your dog could suffer serious injury or die in a matter of minutes if left alone in a car.

• The temperature inside a closed vehicle left in the sun can double within 12 minutes.

• At least 75% of the temperature increase in a closed vehicle occurs within 5 minutes of closing the vehicle, and at least 89% of the temperature increase occurs within 15 minutes of closing the vehicle.

• Temperatures exceeding 104˚ F can lead to death or serious injury for the occupants.

• Temperatures in a closed vehicle sitting in the hot sun can reach 160˚F and above. An animal will suffer immeasurably and may die before the temperature reaches 150˚F.

• Even when parked in the shade, the vehicle temperatures can exceed 104˚C.

• Leaving windows down more than 2 inches on an unattended vehicle will not prevent a car from reaching extreme temperatures.

• Even if the animal is revived, they can die due to severe internal organ damage.

Your dog trusts you to have their best interest at heart ALWAYS.
Please don’t risk their safety.

If you are not taking your dog inside your destination with you, PLEASE leave them at home where they are comfortable and safe.
