Stansted Express is the fastest route between Stansted Airport and central London. Taking just 47 minutes to London Liverpool Street and 36 minutes to Tottenham Hale, the fast, direct and frequent trains depart every 15 minutes. l our customers can ask questions and obtain information from us. We therefore ask for the help of all users in refraining from using offensive language and ensuring content they post is appropriate when contacting us. In return we aim to provide a friendly, efficient and useful service with live updates on our service from our Twitter feed during staffed hours as well as ensuring our users comments are heard within Stansted Express / Greater Anglia. We currently monitor our Social Media streams between 06:30 and 20:30 Monday to Friday, 10:00 -19:00 Saturday and 10:00 - 18:00 Sunday . If you’d like a response to a query, please let us know using our Twitter Feeds ( or ). We monitor posts to our page but do not routinely reply directly to these. Because Social Media is a public forum there are some topics we don’t discuss (for example issues around specific members of staff). If you’d like to raise these you’re welcome to do so via our Customer Relations Team. We hope users will respect this but we do reserve the right to block and report comments that are obscene, indecent, libellous or threatening to other users or the Social Media team. Users chose not to comply with this will receive a warning and where we feel it is appropriate we may remove access to posting and commenting on all our Social Media feeds. Our Social Media streams are run for our users so if you have ideas for improvements or new ways we can use Social Media to have a positive impact we’d be very happy to hear from you. Due to maintenance works at London Liverpool Street, the station will be closed between the 26th December and 1st January. London trains to / from Stansted Airport will turn around at Tottenham Hale.

Stansted Express tickets will be accepted to travel on London Underground Victoria /Circle / Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan Lines to connect between Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street. Tickets will also be accepted to travel on the Central Line between Stratford and Liverpool Street.

❗REMINDER❗
Due to Network Rail bridge replacement work from Saturday 20th July to Sunday 4th August, Mondays to Saturdays train services from London Liverpool Street will not call at Tottenham Hale, instead services will call at Seven Sisters. Seven Sisters station will be very busy during this time, a one-way system will be in operation. Please allow an extra 15 minutes for your journey.
Services to/from Stansted Airport will only run via Tottenham Hale on Sundays 21st, 28th July and 4th August.
Please note that Seven Sisters station does not have step-free access. For more information about the works and ways to book assisted travel please visit stanstedexpress.com

Stansted Express trains are being upgraded🚉

Tables are currently being fitted to bays of four seats on our Stansted Express trains. Four tables are due to be fitted to a train each weekday night whilst our trains are stabled, meaning no disruption to current services. The significant customer-focused upgrade will see all these trains upgraded before end of 2025🎉
