This week, we said so long to writer Des Hannigan.

Des used to walk the Cornish coast and enjoyed climbing Bosigran.

A immensely talented local legend and magnificent man who had the sweetest and warmest smile.
A kind soul that will be missed but most importantly left a beautiful family behind whom we call close friends and love very much.

Des’s son follows his dad footsteps ☀️

Rest up and we will see you on the other side.

Christmas Eve in St Ives.

The weather was dry and mild today here in Cornwall. As Christmas holidays is fast approaching, we felt the need to get out and walk our beautiful Cornish Coast Path to enjoy some quiet time together.

This short walk was just what we needed.
It allowed us to think more clearly about what is really important this Christmas and it gives us the opportunity of updating our guide book notes too.

Every winter, Russ takes some time making sure the guide notes are accurate.

It is a labour of love and one of the best jobs we could have asked for 🤩

Today we took the opportunity to celebrate the end of this year’s season having breakfast in and what a delicious breakfast 👌🏾😻!!

It’s been such a wonderful year, we’ve had walkers coming from all over the world to enjoy the Coast Path and had the opportunity to meet some incredibly kind, content and positive people.

Stunning walk from Porthleven to Polurrian.
10.5 kilometres of pure nature.
There was rain, high winds and sunshine but nothing could stop us. It was beautiful and unforgettable, absolutely needed ☀️♥️☀️

We have some incredibly kind customers on the path this week. We’ve been amazed by all the lovely emails that we have received and would like to say thank you so much for your kindness and for making us feel like we are doing such good job.
Thank you so much.

We needed a reset. Went on a walk after attending to an important meeting, without a destination and ended up at Porthgwarra.

A gentle circular (ish) walk.

There were beautiful animals, stunning coves, happy walkers and a cuppa at the end.

We are so happy to have the sun shinning upon us again after a very wet winter ☀️💫

Some of you are here and enjoying holiday time, hope you have a fantastic week, it’s going to be sunny most days we think.

Thank you for having us for lunch this afternoon.
It was a especially nice seeing so many familiar faces.

In days like today we just want to put on our hiking boots and go…off to the Coast Path not certain of where to go exactly but the sense of adventure and joy is incredible and we can’t resist.

Feeling lucky to have had the time to enjoy a hike today as apparently it is the only sunny day of the week?…

It was a cloudy day but the air temperature was perfect for a 5 mile walk.

We started in Mylor Bridge village. There is a small car park where you can leave your car if you are driving.

We walked along the circular coast path, it’s a beautiful area and there is also a lovely cafe along the way where we enjoyed a flat white whilst admiring the beautifully presented boats.

Then carried onto Flushing Village, where the beautiful colourful houses reminded us of Spain.

Towards the end of our walk was already lunch time and we had the pleasure of finding a table available where we enjoyed a lovely hearty meal and a delicious cup of tea.

We thoroughly recommend this walk if you are finishing your walking holiday in Falmouth.

What a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
