Back at my desk tomorrow after 12 wonderful days in Crete with my little family 🇬🇷☀️❤️

We decided to split our stay between two different hotels and areas to see a little more, Crete is a huge island and I last visited around 16 years ago but had only seen the eastern side, so this time I booked a hotel on the western side and another right in the middle. It worked out perfectly!

For the first 4 nights we stayed in a small hotel in Aghia Marina on a bed & breakfast basis. The hotel was lovely with the most wonderful and friendly staff, the rooms were huge and it was close to really great tavernas, the resort and the beach. Otherresorts were also close by and we could visit Chania old town easily. Chania old town is stunning! 😍

We then moved to a 5* all inclusive hotel just outside of Rethymnon, a totally different experience of course, the perfect place to relax and completely switch off.
The hotel was beautiful, food amazing and the views were just incredible.
Splitting our stay gave us the best of both worlds and worked out perfect for us as a family.
We will definitely be visiting Crete again, so much more to explore of this special island 💞

Fantastic day on board the Regal Princess in Liverpool for Travel Counsellors family day. We’re very lucky to have the opportunity to get on board for ship visits but today was extra special and fun as I could take my family too

A few weeks ago I met up with a lovely couple who had just returned from an amazing holiday and they brought these beautiful flowers for me to say thank you ☺️
This was a trip of a life time but due to an unfortunate accident early on in the holiday it didn’t quite go to plan. Despite this they had the most incredible time and said that having me at the end of the phone from the other side of the world was such a huge help and very reassuring. I arranged new flights, helped with paperwork, cancelled arrangements and generally supported them throughout. They said my service was outstanding and they would never look to book elsewhere again ❤️ (this was the first time they had booked with me)

We never expect things to go wrong on holiday but sometimes unexpected things happen, whether that’s an accident, illness, flight cancellations or weather disruptions. When you’re thousands of miles from home would you have support? Would you have someone there to help no matter what time of day or time zone you’re in? Maybe consider this next time you are thinking of booking a holiday.

It’s a privilege to put together amazing holidays that mean so much to my customers but my service is not just taking a booking, I will be there throughout to answer questions, help with paperwork and entry requirements, arrange tickets and check ins and of course support should anything not go to plan.

8 years!! I have no idea where 8 years has gone, starting my own business was a huge leap of faith following redundancy but thanks to the support of incredible family,friends and a few customers my business started to grow and continues to grow every year.

I can’t believe it’s already the 1st of March! The last two months have absolutely flown by as it’s been so busy. A huge thank you to all the lovely customers that booked with me during this peak time, every single booking means so much when you run a small business and are self employed. 💞 I know during busy times it can sometimes take me a little longer to come back to you, I do work alone and am always committed to finding the best which is not a quick thing. Your patience and loyalty is so appreciated.

As if February wasn’t busy enough I also set myself an extra challenge to walk 100 miles for cancer research along with my sister in memory of our mum that was taken far too early at just 52. It was definitely challenging due to time and weather but we completed 100 miles each yesterday and apart from raising nearly £700 for the charity it also forced me to leave my desk and get some fresh air (or wet,cold and windy air anyway!) The photo is on one of the days where we actually had some sun.

There’s so many ways to book holidays these days and of course everyone is looking for the best price but when you go to an expert remember that they don’t just give you a price, so much more will have gone in to your holiday enquiry. Hours of research, invaluable expertise which comes from years of experience (over 20 years for me now!) , guidance and honest advice that no online company will give you, complete financial and package protection, but most importantly care and peace of mind. I will be here to help, advise and guide from our first conversation to the time you arrive home and beyond plus a 24/7 UK emergency duty office for when you’re travelling if you were to need them. I’m pretty sure no website can give you that.
It’s so easy now to forget the chaos that Covid caused for travel but when the worst happened I was here for my customers and everyone received the refund they were due, there are people out there still fighting with online companies for what they are owed!
Whilst I will always be competitive and find the absolute best for my customers, I’m not an online company but you definitely won’t find what I do online either.

Just a little reminder that the best way to contact me is always by phone or email. Lots of business pages are currently being targeted by scammers filling inboxes with fake messages. This has been reported to Facebook. Unfortunately I don’t always see messages sent through my page, it’s the busiest time of year for me and I am very rarely on facebook or messenger. When you message me through my business page you will always receive and automated reply with my email and telephone number, my business is bespoke and personal so I will always want a chat before doing any work. I would like to wish all my wonderful customers a very Merry Christmas, my lovely loyal customers who have been booking with me for years now, and the new customers who I hope will become loyal regular customers too. I actually don’t like the word customer as in all honesty most of my “customers” feel like friends.

Canada - part 4 (last one) 🇨🇦

Beautiful Banff ❤️

This is by far the most beautiful place I have ever seen! The scenery here and the rocky mountains surrounding the town were just breathtaking!

What we did :
3 nights at The Moose Hotel & suites- amazing hotel at the heart of Banff avenue, perfect location.

Canada Part 3 🇨🇦

We took a transfer which was also a tour from Jasper to Banff taking in the stunning Icefields Parkway, we saw Athabasca falls, Sunwapta falls, Bow lake, Athabasca glacier gorgeous rivers and of course iconic Lake Louise ❤️

Canada - part 2 🇨🇦

Vancouver- Jasper (by rail over 2 days)
Jasper

We travelled by rail from Vancouver to Jasper, it took just over 24 hours and was an incredible experience. Once again far too many photos to share so just a few highlights!

In Jasper we stayed at The Crimson hotel, it was perfect and in a great location in the middle of this beautiful quaint little town.

Whatever I say and whatever photos I share can do this place no justice, it has to be seen and experienced! ❤️🇨🇦

What an amazing city! Walked and cycled miles but so worth it, it’s all stunning!

I really do have lovely customers 🥰 it was such a nice surprise this morning when this beautiful bouquet was delivered. Also received really nice messages from customers who landed back from their holidays and another from the airport! Thank you again 😘

I never expect anything but to know that what I do is so appreciated and that it makes such a difference is lovely! Whether it’s a thank you, a review, a referral or a beautiful gift please know that I appreciate every single one!

Running a fast paced business alone is not easy, there are challenges every single day in the world of travel and this summer has been no different, but I wouldn’t change it for anything as I love what I do and try to give the best service to every customer.

❤️ Florida July 2023❤️

Magic Kingdom fireworks

I can only upload one video (that’s all that is allowed) so can’t think of a better one than the end of ‘happily ever after’ at Magic Kingdom 🥰 Disney know how to put on a show! It really is amazing. It’s a showcase of all your favourite Disney films lit up on the castle with music and fireworks, gives me goosebumps watching the videos back and there really isn’t a feeling like being under that castle with thousands of people watching this phenomenal show. Can’t wait to go again. 😍

❤️Florida July 2023❤️

Hard to believe it’s nearly 3 weeks already since we came back from our family holiday, but it’s been that busy I’ve not had a minute to post some of our photos and experiences! Thank you to all my lovely and loyal customers for being so patient while I was catching up. 💞

We had the most amazing time in Florida, we had great experiences and split our stay and hotels between International drive and Disney.
We stayed at Embassy Suites by Hilton on International drive and then Disney’s Polynesian resort 😍 at Disney. The Embassy is in a great location on I.drive close to Icon Park and lots of great restaurants around, the rooms were really clean and spacious and they have complimentary breakfast which is handy before a busy day!
Disney’s Polynesian Resort is beautiful! As one of Disney’s Deluxe resorts it really doesn’t disappoint. The resort has a really tropical feel, so calm and relaxing and lots of different room types to suit most families. This resort is in an amazing location, the monorail system comes through the main hotel building and Magic Kingdom is just across the lake so if you don’t want to be in the park for the fireworks you can watch them from some balconies or on the ‘beach’. I can’t recommend enough. I did visit a few of the other hotels too when there.

We did of course visit all the Disney parks, Disney Springs and Typhoon lagoon waterpark.

We had the best holiday and I can definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going. It takes a little planning but it is so worth it. This won’t be our last trip to Florida!

This was my second time having been 4 years ago, we did do things slightly differently this time having done it all last time. Splitting our time between the two places was great and it’s what I am recommending to my customers. It can be overwhelming trying to arrange this kind of holiday, there’s a lot to know so take the stress out and let me help you with it all.

I took well over a thousand photos (to the despair of my kids! a 17 year old boy does not like to pose for cute family photos!😂) I’ve attached some of our highlights ❤️

It’s been a bumpy couple of years but so glad business is booming and travel is back bigger and better than ever! Well what a year!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that has chosen to support my business again this year, it’s been a totally crazy, hectic year with plenty of challenges, high’s and low’s but it’s also been my most successful year since starting the business nearly 7 years ago and for that I am so grateful. Without the support of my amazing customers my business would never have survived the two awful years we had in travel, thank goodness travel has returned with a bang and we are now able to travel more or less normally once again. Where did this year go? What a year it’s been for travel ✈️☀️🛳🚄🎉
Despite the rollercoaster, 2022 has been AMAZING! One of the highlights is always celebrating at our annual TC conference. Having not had one since 2019 this was always going to be fantastic and it certainly did not disappoint!
Motivational speakers, meeting up with our great suppliers at our own travel market, phenomenal entertainment, seeing old friends and making new ones, exciting head office updates and the cherry on top ….. winning a holiday of a lifetime to Canada 🇨🇦 🎉 What a way to celebrate my best year in travel ever! Looking forward to the next 12 months with this special business that I am very proud to be a part of.
I couldn’t do any of this without my loyal customers, thank you all for continuing to support me and helping my business grow. I am so grateful to each and every one of you 🥰

Well that was a holiday I needed more than I realised! Rhodes was just stunning 😍 and after the last 2 1/2 years it was absolute paradise. It was so good to be away with the family and just relaxing in the most beautiful country 🇬🇷 ☀️
The last couple of years have been so challenging with a self employed travel business and although business is absolutely booming this year, the industry is still suffering the affects of the pandemic.
However my own travel experience was completely positive, no chaos, no missing luggage, no crazy queues at the airport. (This is also what I hear from the majority of customers too!) Manchester t1 was a total breeze, bags dropped and through security all in less than 15 minutes. The restaurant’s were busy but we didn’t struggle at all to get something to eat or to find seats. Our plane left on time, had our luggage and in a taxi the other side within half an hour. Rhodes airport was the same, no queues and just an hour’s delay coming back. All very ‘normal’! I for one can’t wait to be off again soon ✈️

Thank you to all my lovely customers for your patience whilst I was off and to my brilliant colleagues for taking care of everything for me. I’ll be catching up with everything tomorrow and back to work properly from Wednesday. I look forward to speaking soon.

I wasn’t sure what 2022 would bring following the last couple of years but if this last week is anything to go by Travel is well and truly back!! It feels like a ‘normal January’ which is just amazing! I am busy so please bear with me but thank you to everyone that has enquired or booked so far ❤️ Where will you go next? Need inspiration?

2021 has definitely been another challenging year for travel, but things are not as they were this time last year and we have moved forward despite the difficulties. Travel is happening and is definitely possible! With my help my customers have travelled and the general feeling from talking to people recently is they will travel in 2022 no matter what, life is so short and holidays have been on hold for far too long! It has never been as important to book with a trusted travel expert that can help get you and your loved ones on your much deserved travels!
