London Photograph Fair

We’re delighted to announce that the next London Photograph Fair will be held in Marylebone on the 17th March at the Hellenic Centre, Marylebone, London W1.

With over 30 international dealers showing their latest discoveries, it is not to be missed.

Location: Yards from Marylebone High Street and 5 minutes walk from Baker Street Tube : Bakerloo, Circle, Hammersmith and City, Jubilee and Metropolitan Lines.
Free street parking on single yellow lines and “pay and display” bays all day Sunday. (Avoid Residents bays)

Food: There are a number of great Brunch/Lunch places nearby. Sundays can be busy so booking is advised.

Shopping: The Marylebone Farmers Market is on from 10:00-14:00. The area is renowned for it’s many boutiques, all open on Sundays.

Important Dawn of Photography Discovery to be offered for sale at the London Photograph Fair, Bloomsbury, Sunday 4th November, www.photofair.co.uk.:

A double-sided outdoor daguerreotype locket from The Circle Of Henry Fox Talbot has been uncovered by collector/dealer Jason Wright. It will be offered for sale by the Silver Shadows Gallery at the next London Photograph Fair, Bloomsbury, this coming Sunday. The oval daguerreotypes are likely by photography pioneers Calvert Jones and John Dillwyn Llewellyn. They depict in two images : Lady Mary Lucy Talbot (née Fox-Strangways) (2nd married name : Cole), Henry Petty-Fitzmaurice (the 3rd Marquees of Lansdowne), the Reverend Calvert Richard Jones himself, his wife Anne Jones, their daughter Christina and their Japanese Spitz Dog. The daguerreotype photographs are taken outside, on the Jones family estate in Swansea.
