• After exploring the streets and Salsa bars of San José, your adventure moves south to Quitirrisí. Here, you’ll learn from the locals about medicinal plants, natural dyes, and artisanal crafts made from natural fibres. This immersive experience offers an incredible way to connect with the rich heritage of Costa Rica.

• Travel to the quiet community of Cope San Juan, where only 64 people live. Start the day with a farm-to-table cooking class using fresh local produce then venture into the jungle for a survival walk guided by a local expert. You’ll learn how to craft a jungle shelter, gather food, and find your way in the wild.

• Get up close with Costa Rica’s incredible biodiversity at the Wildlife Rescue Institute. Meet animals being nursed back to health and learn about the importance of conservation and rewilding efforts. Afterwards, set out on the Sloth Tour and spot these iconic mammals relaxing high in the treetops.

• Visit La Tigra and meet the Mendez family, who will welcome you into their home with open arms. Wander through their gardens and regenerated rainforest trails, spotting nocturnal species ranging from red-eyed tree frogs to bats. Your evening ends with a hearty, home-cooked Costa Rican meal prepared on a wood-burning stove.
