This photo sums up just how bad it gets......20 homes had to be evacuated. But together with South Wales Fire and Rescue Service we were able to stop these houses from being burned to the ground by wildfires.

A fire was first reported on Wednesday evening on a hillside near Llanover Road in Blaenavon

It's been a busy few days for the Airbourne team, and looks set to continue for the next week at least. ☀️

Working alongside South Wales Fire and Rescue Service , Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub CGC / MAWW Fire and Rescue, and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service / Gwasanaeth Tân ac Achub Gogledd Cymru for Natural Resources Wales is a privilege.

The quicker we are called to assist, the sooner we can help extinguish the fire and save your beautiful countryside and wildlife.
