This is different and one for nature lovers!
Instead of flying, this Indian Tiger Safari tour includes scenic train journeys across central India, creating a more authentic travel experience. The 15-day journey has no less than 13 safaris across five National Parks. These include the Kanha National Park, which is the inspiration for Rudyard Kipling’s ‘Jungle Book,’ The Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, which has the highest population-density of tigers in the world. A drive through the lesser-visited Panna, which boasts over-200 bird species and a hugely varied topography. There is also a riverboat safari with a difference in Chambal in search of crocodiles, Ganges river dolphins, otters and turtles.

I am thrilled that Travel Counsellors has been rated ‘Green’ for Covid flexibility on the new Which? Holiday Checker!

After taking part in several surveys with the leading UK consumer champion Which? the company has now launched a consumer-focussed online tool that rates companies green, amber or red based on their refund and amendment policies in relation to Covid-19 travel disruption. It is for people to check which travel companies have provided the best service to their customers, offering flexible booking options and refunds, and which ones could leave them out of pocket if circumstances change.

This accolade further highlights how we have looked after our customers throughout the pandemic, building on our consistent 5-star Trustpilot rating and being voted ‘number one’ three times in MoneySavingExpert’s consumer poll, which ranks how well travel companies are looking after their customers during COVID-19.

Fully-vaccinated UK residents will no longer need to self-isolate on arrival into England from 19th July when travelling from an amber-listed country. There will still be a requirement to take a pre-departure test three days before travelling and a PCR test on day two of arrival back in England. Children under the age of 18 will not have to isolate when returning to England.
