For anyone that doesn't follow Tangled Bank, you won't know the story of Meryl the sheep who decided to up sticks and live with the Alpacas. Well, she has now decided the grass wasn't necessarily greener and has since returned to her flock. We think she'll 100% be back though so watch this space 🤣

The animals at our farms are so mischievous and funny at times, all with their own individual and unique characters and personalities. That's just one of the reasons to book a farm stay and also what makes a farm holiday stand out from the crowd, or should we say flock in this case 🤭

Here's a run down from Tom! 👇🏼

🌳 Dunkery Beacon / 13km / 355m ascent / 4 hours. Starting at Wheddon Cross, this circular will take you to the highest point in the national park: Dunkery Beacon (519m). The views from here on a clear day are spectacular.

🌳 Valley of Rocks / 6km / 300m ascent / 2 hours. Taking you from the valley floor up to the ridge along the coast, this is a beautiful loop with great views. You may see goats and if you’re feeling adventurous, you have the option of scrambling that crest!

🌳 Bossington Hill / 5km / 2 hours. With spectacular views in every direction, the area is a haven for wildlife. If you’re lucky with the weather you will be able to see from Dunkery Beacon to the coast of Wales. A great hike right on the coast.

🌳 Tarr Steps / 12km / 300m ascent / 3 hours. Starting at an ancient clapper bridge, this hike will take you through forests to the village of Withypool, before climbing to give you some of those gorgeous Exmoor views.
