Kerr Wellbeing The purpose of Kerr Wellbeing is to help you be your best - to be happy with yourself, your health, and the way you feel.

As a qualified Naturopath and Nutritional Therapist I am passionate about health and wellbeing. I founded Kerr Wellbeing with the aim of encouraging people to take an active role in maintaining or improving their health and educate clients about nutrition, supportive lifestyle techniques, and how to promote a balanced mind and spirit. As a busy Londoner myself, I understand that taking time for on

eself is not easy. We are constantly challenged with juggling work, family and social life whilst trying to stay healthy. I have applied my knowledge to my own life and therefore have personal experience of how diet and lifestyle choices can significantly affect your health and wellbeing. Personal experience of sickness within my family when I was young inspired me to explore this particular field of health. Growing up I thought that disease should be expected - it happened to everybody at some point. However, in my 20's I travelled in Asia and experienced a different approach which resonated with me and on my return to the UK I completed a three-year diploma course with The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM). To ensure I am up to date with the latest research and findings I regularly attend workshops, lectures and short courses. I am a member of the British Association of Nutrition Therapists (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which is the only register in the UK to provide clear, traceable assurance to the general public that Nutritional Therapists have undergone a process to ensure fitness to practice. What a fantastic evening we had on Wednesday evening for our sell out talk on 'Women's Health'. Great turn out of lovely ladies all looking to improve their health and balance their hormones. With thanks as always to our fantastic and generous sponsons, this was defiantly the best goody bag yet!! and for allowing us to use their rooms!

Thanks for all those fab people who joined Kate and I, for our BEAT THOSE SUGAR CRAVINGS Talk on Wednesday night at the City College of Acupuncture in Old Street.

Taking the turmeric latte one step further with this delicious Turmeric Hot Chocolate night drink for a restful nights sleep!

It's rich in magnesium from the organic cacao powder, our body's natural relaxant.

Tryptophan from the banana, which is an amino acid our body coverts to our sleep hormone melatonin which ensures a restful night sleep.

Then of course the amazing anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric not to mention its other super properties.

Blend together with some almond milk, I like as they don't add any nasties, a quarter tsp of cinnamon and then some fresh vanilla pod.

Health is not only about a healthy body, it's also about the health of your mind and spirit too. Hypercritical I know as I type this to say 'put your phone down' but it really does wonders for your health to reconnect with nature. It grounds us and reminds us of how simple things can make you feel good too.

Thought I'd share last nights nutritious dinner - Brown rice mushroom lettuce wraps, delicious!!!
Simply cook up onions, ginger, chilli, garlic and add a whole variety of mushrooms. Cook the rice separately and once ready add to the mushroom mix. Splash on some soy sauce, squeeze on some lime and add a load of chopped coriander! That's it!
Then everyone to takes a lettuce leaf, a big scoop of the yummy mushroom rice mix and enjoys!!
