Our planet Earth, with its vast history of 4.543 billion years, is a testament to the resilience of life. Yet, Earth Day, is a tradition that is only 54 years young! which serves as a reminder of our responsibility towards this ancient world.
Let’s both honor our planet and acknowledge its challenges this Earth Day. Earth Day was initiated on April 22, 1970, to bring attention to the escalating environmental issues that our world is grappling with.
As we pause to appreciate the natural splendor around us and switch off our lights for a day, what will be your Earth Day commitment? What goal will you set to aid in reducing pollution and environmental harm?

I can not find the words to express my sorrow for the who were killed whilst helping others. For those of you who don't know who World Central Kitchen is this is who they are:

People who are not confined to the well-trodden paths; they venture into the heart of disaster zones, world wide , places that others may hesitate to tread. Their commitment shines brightest in areas like Gaza, where, even when other agencies withdrew, they persevered, finding innovative ways to deliver food to the hungry, to sustain life amidst desolation.

Their actions are not about heroism or recognition; they are about humanity. It’s the silent resolve to do what is best, to feed, to care, and to nurture, even when the world isn’t watching. Words may fail to capture the depth of their impact, but their legacy is written in the countless lives they’ve touched.
