Setting off into the heart of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, as part of our team you will soon discover the joys of a nomadic way of life – wild camping under the stars, trading stories around a cosy ger and seeking mountain lakes or streams to complement remote stops for lunch.
Days will be spent riding in a combination of woodland trails, mountain meadows and untracked steppe that were once used as trade routes and smuggling routes between Altai Village and China.

As our friends at Everest in the Alps kick off the first day of their final-ever ski touring challenge, we thought it would be a good time to share a little about what they are doing..
Did you know less than a hundred people have completed the 'four toughest days on skis' challenge?
It’s a gruelling challenge which involves approximately up to 40 hours of ski touring, with up to a total of 20 individual ascents over 4 days. Each day the teams climb between 2,000m – 2,500m to reach the overall target of 8,848m. At altitudes of up to 3,500m.

SC consultant Waldo Etherington takes you through his impressive advanced rigging class last week in Bristol 🪢
He says: “There's a lot of conventional and less conventional rigging at play here. It's all about evolving what we know and practicing the skills that enable us to rig and conduct rope access and rescue in remote and wild places, but also in industry and recreation.
“We're massively over complicating the rigging here, because we have a group of expert students who enjoy the challenge and have the capacity to learn a lot from these progressions.
