I've always been asked 'why?' when I discuss travel plans with loved ones ... the majority assume it's a coping mechanism because, honestly, it used to be.

Solo travelling, unexpectedly, became a powerful therapy for me in my early 20's. I spent years living and working abroad, taking time to visit new places and experience new languages/cultures as often as possible.

Your mental health condition is not always a reason to not do something. If I had given into my fears all those years ago, I would never have made the connection with nature, the connection with people or the connection with myself that I'm so greatly proud of.

Always here to discuss anything mental health and/or travel related.
