2 new 3 bedroomed cottages for December 2010 and 1 2 bedroomed cottage that was opened in 2009. They are all decorated to a high standard and have all mod cons including underfloor heating. Wifi now available.

Like and Share Folks Dear Mr. Knight, You're right, we are a little more expensive than some other Carvery lunches, but we are a wee bittie better. Let me explain. Firstly we only use our own Cairnton Aberdeen Angus Rib of beef, not Silverside or Topside, which is very common, much cheaper, and nothing like as good. And secondly, we hang the beef, here at Deeside Activity Park, in our butchery chill, so we know exactly how mature it is. There is the cooking which my team make a great job of, cooking for the minimum time, and letting it rest for as long as possible. And then, there's me. I breed them, I feed them, I look after their well being, and I have every confidence that what we are serving is the best you can get. I also very much enjoy meeting our regular visitors. Of course, as well as the Cairnton Aberden Angus beef, we always have at least one other roast, a ham, and today, one of Arran and Louise Urqhuart (Milton of Auchenhove, Lumphanan) Gigot of Pork, from one of their Gloucester Old Spot X Oxford Sandy and Black Pigs. All of this means we have to ask our customers for a little more than some others, and they really do appreciate the difference. I hope that makes sense. Cheers ! Ken.

Situated nearby and also on Royal Deeside is a premier outdoor playground for lovers of adventure sports, and the area boasts several castles and stately homes including Balmoral Estate and Castle. Royal Lochnagar Distillery is a world class whisky distillery, just over the Dee from Balmoral and there is an abundance of scenic walks to suit all levels.
