Excel4Bowling combines my passion for Ten-Pin Bowling, my day job as a Project Management consultant, and dabbling in Excel to develop Lean systems.

I started to develop the DrillSheet Database for my local Pro Shop to assist with record keeping, and to get my head back into bowling and around my ever decreasing average. With the magic of Excel, I created the first database, and made it available through the BowlingChat.net forum, which had several 100 downloads, plenty of requests for additional features and has led to Version 5. atabase supports drilling layouts entered by both the Dual Angle system and the Vector Layout System (VLS™) by Storm®, and provides an approximate graphical representation (Yes! It's a Graph!)
I plan to support and develop the database as needs change, and will try to keep any updates free to existing users. I am an avid bowler and have been playing and learning about Tenpin Bowling for over 30 years. This DrillSheet Database combines my passion for Bowling with my day job as a Project Management consultant in the Construction industry, where I also dabble in Excel to develop Lean systems. Currently working on additional features to enhance the DrillSheet Database!! And open to any ideas for other combinations of Bowling and Excel!!

Drillsheet Database Now FREE!!

Over the last few years, my day job has become increasingly time consuming so there has just been no time to develop the Drillsheet Database any further. Also, bowling as sport is declining in the UK, so I don't dream about helping improve bowling for both myself and other athletes as much as I used to.

As there have been very few comments for improvements and there have been no stability issues, I have decided that the current Drillsheet Database will be available for FREE to everyone.

I may return to it one day - perhaps a mobile or web-based version.
