Confession time.........it's been 7 months and 4 days since my last post.
Over the last year or so I've had varying thoughts on what I could say, ranging from some self-promotion with "Look at me helping a couple get back from New Zealand after their flights were cancelled and they were advised to contact the embassy" to touting for business with "the borders are open, book a holiday”, swiftly followed by the dreaded “stand down everyone, they’re shut again”.
Therefore my first post is simply to say that I am still here (*sighs of relief being heard around the world*), I am still a Travel Counsellor, and there is a still a world to continue to explore when we’ve got the green light. I haven’t been as active on social media as I could have been during the last year, mainly because I was making banana bread, getting my body “beach-ready” and learning a new language. I want to thank customers/friends who stood by me during what has been a challenging time for everyone in the last 12 months - your patience and understanding during the rebooking/refunding process hasn’t been forgotten, I’ll always be grateful.
I'm so proud to say Travel Counsellors has come out of this with our reputation in tact (https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/2020/05/mse-travel-survey-results/). Your travel is in safe with us! Therefore when you’re ready to start planning your next adventure, why not partner up with someone who cares about your travel and will be there to support you every step of the way?
It may be not be possible to travel yet, but it's never too early to plan. I know where I’ve got my eyes on, where do you want to go?
